You just proved my opinion about these small-displacement turbo 4-bangers (3-bangers in some vehicles); Yes, they get better gas mileage, but large displacement is a better choice for SUVs and crossovers. Turbos are great for sports cars and diesels, but turbocharging a small engine and putting it in a vehicle that should probably have a naturally-aspirated V6 is just going to overwork that engine in the long run. My best friend bought a certified pre-owned 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe in late 2019 with like 4,000 miles; He went out of his wat to get one with the larger, naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder instead of the smaller turbocharged one. He now has over 50K miles on the Hyundai and has had no problems with it; On top of that, he paid like $20K for it and recently paid it off, and with 50K miles on it the vehicle is now worth like $25K! The dealer he bought it from is begging him to trade it in and buy something new so they can charge him top dollar for a new Hyundai and then sell the one he has now for a grossly inflated price.

I agree with you ! Thankfully it’s a company vehicle and they flip the bill for everything! If this was my personal vehicle I would be pissed! My brides car 16 highlander with 65k on it will not be replacing it anytime soon.

My cousin has a 2021 Highlander XLE Hybrid; She'd previous bought a new RAV4 from them so they gave her a deal. The 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD had 99K miles on in 2021 because she drives so much for work, and they still gave her $15K for it! She traded the RAV4 in because (A) it had high miles, (B) she has a 2-year old and wants to have another baby, and (B) she really wanted heated seats, which the RAV4 did not have...

Haha! I chose the limited because of the seats were climate controlled. I replaced the head unit few months back so she could have Apple car play.

Not that hard to do that in a Highlander? I thought that generation of Highlander had a radio that was integrated with the other controls? Here's my head unit...

All of them are going; the reason why I brought it to your attention is because as far as I know you're the only person I know of that still uses an iPod :D

Do you guys remember the Microsoft Zune? It flopped but I actually liked that one :anonymous:

My friend Dave preferred the Zune to the iPod and was forced to stop using his when they stopped supporting it; Are they still gonna offer iTunes as a means of uploading songs to iPhones?

A house on that same street that was built in the early 1990s just sold for $1.8 million; This one is smaller, but it'll probably still be well over a million!

Probably would have been faster if it weren't for the shortages and supply chain issues, and I guarantee you it's not built as well as the house that got demolished!

Bet you most people are just using an iPhone instead now. I like your method better of putting the use on the cheaper and less pain in the ass to replace device when possible though.

Nope. Whoever owns it is paying insurance and taxes on the land etc so the longer it takes the more it costs.

Still using my iPod Classic routinely.
Play CDs every day on the road, can't beat the fidelity.

Yeah, I'm behind the times...

I'm a CD person as well. I did put some of my stuff on USB but it's my rare ones so I don't play the originals.

I do use Youtube only if I want to hear something right now and don't have the disc with me though
