    the unboxing.
Showed up today, fairly undamaged thru Fed Ex.

    well packaged, styrofoam all around.

    the unit, undamaged, yay.

I've had my usual cocktails of course before arriving home.
The initial temp inside was 74 degrees, was just a couple minutes after that that i took this pic.
It also shows what it see from the battery, but the cigarette style plug is known to drop a volt or two.

amps being pulled from the battery.
The existing fridge in the camper will suck 8 amps all day long, for about 3-4 hours until it's dead. Better on propane of course, but only chills down to 40 degrees below ambient temp. so at 90 degrees outside, no bueno.

    test subject.

it got colder at this point quicker than I'm typing this post. about 15 minutes.

temp probe that I'm using to gauge it says it's pretty close.

current battery voltage as it's running.

amp draw is going down as it's approaching the target temp.

took about 20 minutes to get to below freezing.
The existing absorption fridge takes 24 hours. :bananadance::dancingbacon::broccoli: happy foods.

we'll see how it does long term.

and it's got a light inside. Plus bluetooth so i can check and adjust the temp while driving and shit. I'l figure that out after the cocktails wear off.

pulled the green slushie out, for science, and replaced it with an ice cream sandwich.
set the temp to 20 degrees, locked the camper door and we'll see what we have in the morning. Hoping for a frozen ice cream sandwich and still maybe 12ish volts on the battery. I set the cutoff at high, which is 11.1 volts

Does it have a way to calibrate and set the temp up?

The one I have is dead on in the garage but in the truck reads a few degrees higher on the probe I monitor compared to the set temp.... Glorified beer fridge....

    12.8 on the
You tube says it has a hidden set of commands to calibrate the temp. So far the probe is reading a degree colder than the display. Checked it at 4 am and ice cream is frozen and the battery still shows 12.8v.

Anyone know a good place to get T slot nuts or bolts. I got to the point today where i walked into ace for the third time and just told the guy "i know more than you" but they didnt have what i needed. Yes i looked on Amazon but everything online im finding is a tad too big for what i need.
