None at all. I went spring under in the rear which is very stable. In fact I can't max out the springs. Once all my gear is in the back I think it will help.

The steering is normal. You need more volume and pressure to move the bigger rack and tires.

Just one. I have a little 20 cu ft bottle, but thinking of an even smaller one mounted under the hood. 1 qt of oil is enough to fill both shocks and reservoirs. The dual fill regulator doesn't take much room either.

It kinda handles like a go kart now, not as nimble obviously, but the steering doesnt right itself, it kinda holds position. Can't imagine how heavy the steering is with 40's. I am sure I will get used to it, but it was noticeable on the first drive.

Built as a step to get in with a strap to pull out up. Pretty cool setup.

this is the same as asking if you carry oil for your coilovers.
Either way, they can leak, ori or not.

That was in response to carrying extra seals for the ORIs no sense in carrying the seals if no nitrogen.

He said this from the get go. Leaks are relevant to all shocks/struts. :notsure: Maybe I misunderstood the point he was trying to make.

EDIT: I guess with a normal coilover you still have the coil is what he's saying.

So the exchange was about spares. Guy with ORIs says he carrys seals not a full strut well without tooling and nitrogen and possibly oil there is no point to carrying spare seals. Also like he said the big downfall is the you blow one out you're riding on bumps the whole way back to camp. Or doing a repair of said seals on the trail just seems nuts. I can see carrying some spares and tooling to do at camp possibly. Like I carry all kinds of shit with me most of it stays back at camp I carry just what would be needed to get my ass off the trail then do anything major at camp. So when the guy said he brings seals he said do you bring nitrogen because the ORIs use the nitrogen as their spring and without it hence riding back on bumps so no use in carrying spares without everything needed to do a rebuild.

Fair enough. I realized this all after I thought about it harder. Juggling a lot in the ol' noggin lately.

Has it had an alignment since the kit was installed?

The resulting effect of a leak will be related to where the leak is. It could be the spring rate chamber, which wont put you on your bumps, or the ride height chamber. If the result is "riding on the bumps" and the issue is more than a slow leak that a refill wont solve, at least temporarily, I'd probably lower the bump down to maintain ride height.

They suggest having a tank of nitrogen with you so you can change the tuning if your heart desires.

That could help with steering effort if it's out of whack in the castor

Update on the UCA issue. F367BC0C-1778-4725-8029-02D14D70D399.jpg I guess this is a good sign. Hopefully mine was just a one off and no one else runs into this. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Good they are handling that for you. I am surprised it passed visual inspection before shipping.
