Do you have a Red Wing store near you? They would be able to scan your feet and recommend a good boot based on the PPE requirements for your job.

Got the rod holders bolted in the shell yesterday and put some rods in it last night. Out of the way and ready to play

 

Morning crew. Going to be another busy day. My machinist counterpart has been working the last couple weeks at a different stations outage, same company but different station.
The welding coordinator has a couple more of those weld coupons he wants prepped...(no one around here can grasp how it's easier to do these machining operations all at once)
We are going to have a mini- shutdown in June so there is a bunch work with machinist support that needs looked at and signed off on this in addition to our deadline for our other work that needs sign off for our Fall outage.
Then I need to punch...( maybe slugger cutter) couple of holes in 2 parts they give me the other day, needs done today.
Looking at the bright side...Looking at work orders can mostly be done from my desk, and give my feet a break.
@My Name is Rahl , the only RedWing location I know of is probably 60 miles away but I could goggle other locations.

 

Might be worth it to go and get your feet scanned. They can also leverage their stock a whole lot easier and tell you what they have and don't have. I'm pretty sure they can see what other Red Wing stores have across the country, as I needed a special EE width of a Heritage boot. It was going to be a 6 week lead time to have it made in MN, but a store in CO had the exact shoe I wanted. I only had to wait for it to be shipped across the US and they didn't charge me shipping.
