Anyone have any guide recommendations for a Unit 8 cow hunt in December? Got a buddy from out of state who wants to maximize his chances of success for this hunt.

I have been "camping" near Mormon lake all week and ran into a couple of old guys hunting Turkey. I did not see any but did see one very large bear. I peed myself a little. Fricken cold as well.

Late season Coues tag for 34A here. Only took me 5 bonus points to score that one. I'm gonna be chasing them with the struggle stick for the OTC season in August, then my 75 yr old dad and I will go out with the orange army in December. Ideally I will get a velvet in August then put my dad on a rutting stud in December, but these gray ghosts have had me eating tag soup many times in the past.

Cow elk unit 8. Excited for the fridge filler. Also doing Wyoming speed goat in September. OTC archery to fill the void.

I know this can be a touchy subject but Im going to ask anyways. I need a place to sight in a riffle before a hunt. I would normally go to Rio but since I dont have a connection to get on the private range anymore and I cant hardly deal with all the BS on the public range.

Does anyone have a spot or another range to would be good sending a few bullets to finalize my sights? I only need about 250 yds.

I occasionally go somewhere off of the Orme/Dugas Rd exit off the I-17. On the east side of the freeway.

Fixin' to be a rainy opening day in 34A/B (probably most of AZ actually). Time to refresh that DWR fellas! At least I won't need to pack as much water since the springs are flowing.
