haha yep tested everything out at once. Sleeping bag is really freaking warm. Tent isnt as warm as i thought it would be but i think i just need to tinker around with it (thats what she said) and the stove worked flawlessly and made many cups of coffee. Oh and word of advice. the little blue foam pads are bout worth as much as.....wait. i dont think there is even anything that is that worth lesss:confused::confused: needless to say dont wast your time.

try a thermarest pad...I got mine last year and love it! Super comfy. It does take about an hour or more for it to inflate fully (can't put anything on top of it during that time either) so if you're in a time crunch to set up camp it sucks. That's about the only downside that I've found with it.

they are great. i picked up my military spec one from a surplus store for only $10. it's not as wide as the commercial ones but it works great.

good to hear everything worked as planned. I use a Pacific Outdoors Mummy inflatable. It is super tough and really comfy. I got it off REI when they had them but now the one that is identical is the Big Agnes mummy inflatable. They pack up super small and I have never had any issues with them. They self inflate but I am impatient so I just blow it up manually. Only take about 5 good breathes to get it good.

very comfy. I slept like a baby the first night I used it...surprised me because it usually takes me a while to adjust to new environments and I don't sleep too well when camping. I've used mine out in the woods and slept on top of pinecones and in campgrounds on gravel and haven't felt a thing through the pad. and they do sell repair kits just in case...

I actually have the REI brand - Camp Bed 2.5 - but they're all pretty much the same. I choose this one because it was slightly lighter weight than the other brands and REI has special ones for girls...they have a higher r value - 4.5 (since girls get colder quicker )

tired of camping on the ground, dont want to shell out 700 for a bestop, make your own!

so far I've spent 60 dollars on this, and half of that was for the tubing bender that I will probably return. If I wanted to be lazy, I could just throw a tarp over it and say it's done. But I'm planning on blackmailing my sister for her sewing skills and making a canvas top for it.

The best part is that it folds down under my tonneau cover when im travelling, and will sit on top of all my gear while still installed in the side rails. So whenever I get to where I plan on sleeping, the thing should set up in about 30 seconds.

    sorry for the crappy pics
