How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

    My dealer called me Monday to let me know that Toyota hasn’t been giving eta’s. He predicted that it could be at the dealership sooner than later. Maybe next week. Just for reference, I have a week 13 build which was the last week of April.

    Last week I put a deposit on a TRD OFF ROAD, LONG BED, LUNAR ROCK. Not sure when the dealer placed the order for this particular truck prior to my deposit, they showed me that production date is June 6th, with approximate ETA mid july

    It's not an order per se, but rather an allocation that the dealer has received. If the dealer has received the allocation for the truck and specs that you want, you should have received a VIN number and should also have signed some kind of bill order that indicates the sales price, taxes and other fees along with your deposit.
    Otherwise, they're probably waiting for an allocation with the specs that you want, which at this point, no one knows how long that's going to take.

    The dealer called me and informed that it's allocated with all the options etc, a bill was drawn with price, tax, etc including trade value and my deposit, I asked about a Vin # I was told partial Vin but not a complete Vin at that time

    hmm.. 5/5 build my temp stopped working on 5/5. Got a permanent VIN on 5/9. VSPEC is still showing A status and the app does not have any notifications.

    From what I've seen here, A status seems to only last 4 - 5 days. I'm at day 7 today

    They should have at least a temporary VIN for you then it will switch to a permanent VIN once completely built, if I'm not mistaken...

    Is there any particular reason why SE VINS don't work on VSPEC? It's killing me to not be able to nerd out tracking it.

    When you start getting notifications about doors unlocking etc on the toyota app, does that indicate any certian step in the process? My Tacoma was built first week in April, was shipped and at Newark NJ port by the end of April, was waiting on driver to deliver to dealership and yesterday it sent me a notification that doors were unlocked and updated the milage and tire psi. Originally the dealer was showing a delivery date to the dealership of 5/4/22.

    Tire PSI could give you an idea of what is happening. High PSI is used for rail, low PSI is delivered to dealer.

    My Toyota App shows nada! However, my truck is already at the rail hub in Illinois waiting for a truck pick up to the dealer.

    Same here. I can add my VIN in the My Toyota app, but I have no odometer or tire PSI readings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
