Yea i agree completely. Betting they shut off the sell button in a SHF scenario is a sure bet. I mean actual gold and silver as well. Just ain't no way it's so cheap. Not as easy to get as the prices imply

I still sat they're fine if you want metal behavior as a diversifier.

If you're playing trades on commodities...well, it's a thing you can do.

Long timeline horizon, metal ETFs match very well with spot.

Most people don't actually own their home. Even most of the 'rich' with expensive hybrids and tesla's. Even if they can 'afford' those things they're likely on credit till the end of time

Any data to back up these claims you make? Or just assuming?

Also look what happened in the last couple of years. Even those that could no longer afford their rent/mortgage were free to stay there. Most states stepped in and did not allow banks to just kick people to the curb. Some of them still to this day living rent free in some cities/counties.

"They" really want to push their digital currency thing by any means.
I don't exactly get how they're gonna be like: 'well we stopped at nothing to destroy everything and spent so much time making people reliant on the dollar while simultaneously making it worthless and unimportant. All so we could push our digital currency, which by the way is super important and stable and safe not like the other one before it' :and people are still gonna go for it. But i have even less faith in the gumption of the average person sooooo

I'm gonna be green today. Who would have thought. Betting that meme basket run this morning was a test. June 3rd is when the real deal happens.

Executive order 14302. Basically, 70 Chinese companies will no longer be allowed to be used as collateral in US markets. Big liquidity crunch.

So AMC three times 10-day volume today. GME five times 10-day volume today.

BBIG. 1/3 of 10-day volume today. When it runs it's going to be glorious.

Nobody in liberal New York is skipping rent payments and NOT getting evicted anymore.
    That ended in January.
And there are still no rentals available.
My landlord got rid of people during the eviction moratorium too.
We quickly became his favorite tenants because our checks never stopped.

If the economy keeps crashing I'd bet they bring it back. But that's just my guess.

In city of Los Angeles it's still alive and kicking. I feel bad for all the landlords who had to endure less rent money coming in.

^This is basically the catch that i was alluding to. Any time commodities like metals are a good play, is likely also a terrible time to be trusting shady bankers with ETFs full of fine print and their hands in politicians pockets

Yeah, I don't like fast plays of any kind. I'm a long term macro guy only. The rest is just luck people convince themselves is skill.

No, no data. But every very poor or very rich person i've met loves credit like a crack addict loves crack.
Don't get me wrong data is great where it's useful but in practicality i get just as much use out of just plain old looking around, paying attention to things that jump out as 'odd', and generally reading the writing on the walls in reality around me.
Especially these days where you can't say anything without someone pushing up their glasses and asking for a source or some data (not you, jus saying), as if every notion ever made must come from some empirical source or institution or it isn't valid. Hard to not be skeptic about such an environment when info can be fudged and skewed like we're very obviously seeing with inflation for example
