Everyone was pretty much out until recently here when we got a bit in. I believe I have a set or two of red F/R, some aqua fronts, and I believe a 6000k F/R set. Pretty light though still.

Just a note to say we will have sufficient stock of these (enough to finally be "in stock") within the next week or two! Kits are currently being prepped to ship our way. The 4Runner kits are right on their tail.

Placed an order for aqua front and rear, 1 4ft extension, 2 2ft extensions this afternoon. Received an email confirmation stating full backorder. End of May it is I guess. :bananadead::rofl:

I can’t tell what I’m doing wrong, I cleaned the area where I’m going to attach the footwell lights thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, and tried to stick the lights on but they fall right off..

There could be oils from your fingers on the adhesive, or some sort of oil (maybe from a detail spray) on the surface that the alcohol isn’t getting rid of.

I’d try your own isopropyl alcohol solution. Also consider adding some sort of heat to the adhesive if you’re in a cold environment.

It’s 85 degrees here. I was using 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Then your adhesive is probably contaminated and you may need some replacement adhesive. Contact who you purchased them from and they can get a claim started.

Same happened with mine. I just used some 3m automotive double sided tape from autozone and it worked fine.

Anyone know if this kit works on a 2022 Tundra?

The harness might not be plug and play. But you can get an exposed lead connector and wire them to a dome or cargo light circuit.

Does the 2022 have an existing footwell light like the previous gen?

This particular kit will not. The 2022 Tundra is a new generation and only some of the trucks have an existing footwell light like the previous Gen. For those that do have the factory footwell lightning it’s already LED.

The cargo light isn’t a dome light equivalent. It doesn’t fade, it doesn’t trigger when the engine is turned off, and on some models (SR & Limited) it doesn’t trigger with door lock/unlock.

    Correct.

I was more implying it turns on when the door opens and off when door closes / locks and have the ability to turn off / on / door function which I prefer.

the fade isn’t a big deal for most as the feature isn’t really seen when unlocking/ locking. Well for me at least. I’d never see the feature as I would be outside the vehicle in both applications
