Damn LA didn't get it done last night. Very annoying. Also, annoying (and goes w/o saying) is Toronto. They better win game 7. Making me look like a fool to everyone, for saying I thought they would for sure take this series. And really, last night, they had the puck, they had chances and still lost. It's crazy. The GWG was also so fluky.

Hopefully Pens pull it off tonight. I'm going to assume no Sid, since they recalled Zahorna. No hearing for that hit either, but "Pens get all the calls." "NHL wants the Penguins to win" lol. Good times.

 

Lol. I thought about these types of comments when Guentzel went to the box for roughing last game. Not sure that was actually called for.

 

I see it constantly on Twitter , FB and whatnot. It gets so annoying. I'm not saying that the Pens are getting shafted, but just simply saying I don't want to hear about how we have the refs in pocket. 2 of our top line players have been taken out by a high hit which was very, very questionable. I could go on and on. That's just the NHL. It's a coin flip on calls. But just wanted to vent a bit about that lol. Anyways, I think if Rakell can come back, and Jarry, we can still close up the series w/o Sid. But without all 3 it's going to be really tough.

Yep, there are good calls and bad calls everywhere. I think the circumstances are important for the NHL to consider -- such as, the Rangers are down 3-1 in the series, 2-0 in the game and Trouba "accidentally" lands a high hit on Crosby. Maybe questionable during the reg season, but gotta tighten up in the post season.

 

Matthews had his jersey held and pulled the offender around for 25 seconds in game 7 and there was no call. Foote fakes a high stick to the face, on video it doesn't make contact, and the game is tied on the 5 on 3 that happens afterwards.

Tampa has had some bad calls against them as well but the officiating is brutal this year in the Leafs and Bolts series. I guess that's nothing out of the ordinary.

 

Crosby is out tonight. Not sure if Jarry is back.
