Wall fixture or ceiling? I did mine on the wall, dunno how well my method would work on the ceiling but I don't see why not. If the hole was larger than a 50 cent piece I'd use one of those steel mesh sticky patches and then feather the mud waaaaaayy far out to hide the bump

I feel like as soon as I was getting into tapes, CDs came into the scene but I do remember having a tape recorder deck that I used to mix songs with.

Speaking of nostalgia, was on my way home from work and Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper came on the radio so naturally I blasted it. Guy in a Jeep pulls up next to me and starts laughing his ass off

    I apologize for nothing

I have to repaint the ceiling anyway...

Love the fixture though, much nicer than the old flourescent thing.

I have the room but I think I need one that rolls because otherwise an island would make you walk kind of weird through the kitchen and it's a major thoroughfare since the back door is used more than the front.

I would check Amazon for some sort of escutcheon that goes between the fixture and the ceiling. Someones gotta make something for that situation.

Saw someone do a live show of Where have all the Cowboys Gone a couple weeks ago and its been bouncing around in my head ever since.

Pretty sure it was the male stripper in cowboy boot-skates that made it extra memorable.

Absolutely would rock out to it at a stoplight

I like that idea. I got to run to Lowe's right now anyway so I might see what they have on hand. I can vaguely remember something like that from when I worked at home Depot.

$30 seems high but Id think you could find something similar for less.

Oth, you'd probably spend that or more on plaster and all the associated supplies to do it "right". Everytime I go to Lowes/HD these days it seems I lose at least $100 even on the small stuff.

Got quoted $600 for quad 120 outlets and a 240 plug in the garage at the new place. There is only a dual plug outlet on one side of the garage. Side my bench and toolbox is going on has none.
