Awesome build! How did you go about mating the LS electrical into the factory electrical?

standalone harness from psi conversion. Than just taped into where the body harness connects to the factory engine harness to run speedo, tach and what not. Bypassed the fuel resistor and reworked a little bit of the factory fuse box to suit my needs.

So this winter I took off all the bed rack stuff since i wasn't really using it ever and decided it needed to go to go faster in the desert.

Had a small break to work on the truck in May so chopped the bottom of the front frame crossmember and raised it like 4.5" for better approach angle and built it from tube and then added some UHMW skids to it.

Then this summer when i got home from fishing i tore the motor out for my 3rd oil pan design (this time it works and yeah i know dry sump...dry sump...dry sump....and no not going there).

and while the motor was out i chopped out the lca mounts and threw in the JD Fabrication lca mounts/skid.

then took it to Moses Lake and beat the piss out of it.

Next up is a hail mary in that i have about a mixed month of time between when i get home next month and January, when i'm supposed to be at Johnson Valley for KOH with a bunch of friends, to try and throw a hail mary and do even more work to the truck....It's either going to turn out awesome or i'm gonna faceplant and not be able to drive the truck for 5 months.... Time will tell. I've got to put togethor a new rear end, install a fuel cell, install my 4 link rear end and cage the truck....luckily i will have help for the last part but its gonna be close...fingers crossed that everything shows up in time and can get the work busted out!

Hit me up if you ever go to Moses again in between now/koh! Always have wanted to thrash my junk in the sand. I'm probably going to Koh as well, haven't been in a couple years!

Figured time for a few more updates...

Pulled the bed off and installed a jeepspeed 32 gal fuel cell in with a deatchwerks fuel pump. And finally threw my adv bedsides on, now just need to swap out my Mcneill +2 front fenders out for the Adv set i got sitting in the shop.

Wicked creations lt w/kings. Rear jdfab sua deaver h70's king 2 tube bypasses.
This is what I want my truck to be!!! Man I'm just up the hill from you in lynden. I'm installing my +3.5 arms, kings, and bumps in my 06, next week or two I'll put h70 deavers sua with 16" kings. I've got a lq4 ls motor for the truck already. My plan is to throw the ls motor in next year, I will be using a tr6060 also. I imaging your truck shits and gets. I just read this post and see you've got all you guages working with the ls. I may have to pick your brain on this one of these days. Any way, super sweet rig you got. Look forward to seeing the link rear setup.

yeah let me know if you have any questions. I wasn’t able to get the temp gauge to work since the cluster reads a signal from the ecu and I wasn’t sure what it was so I left it alone. Rpm and speed I was able to set using the Dakota digital converter box.

I may have answers…lol. I may not be able to say how to do it right but I can definitely say how to do it wrong..…lol

Works pretty good, only issue I’ve really noticed is back to back offset bends aren’t really doable sometimes due to how it feeds into the plates. Otherwise it’s a good bender.

Good to know, thanks. have you ever used a jd2 model 3 or 32 to compare it to? I am getting ready to replace one that was stolen, but have been thinking about the RF instead.
