Neat. The city seized the property of my favorite motor shop so they could build a parking garage there. Guess 60 years in the same location means nothing.

Its kind of in a not nice area of town they are trying to revitalize by putting in a minor league ball park and this parking deck next door. I dont think their plan to bring in tourists is gonna work. Oh well.

Its colorado, you need traction boards to get your subaru into the king soopers parking lot. Not much of a stretch to think raptor lights are also standard.

    Damn gentrification

Their doing something similar here to appeal to the uppity Seattle crowd that can't afford to live in the city anymore. There have been a rash of "unknown arsons" setting fires to old businesses and restaurants. City has been tearing down the buildings and putting apt complexes up instead of allowing the current tenants to rebuild their business's

    Fun afternoon.
So last year my moms Outback had an interior leak showing at the a-pillar and water was pooled under the back part of the front drivers seat and the back driver side foot well, because of the way/where the water travels. Seemingly classic sunroof drain clogged situation for them. I unclogged the lines with weedwacker line, removed the back seat and some trim to pull up the carpet back there to let it dry. I stuck a few dishrags under it to help soak/prop it up to let air get under it because its foam lined.
She decided she wanted a new carpet kit installed at the dealer, didn't want to deal with future/possible stank, etc. So I order the carpet for her, its in stock at the dealer, we take it in as is, I tell her rep what was going on and that they should unclog the lines even though I did, and that I stuck some rags under the carpet to help it dry, just toss those. All good, they call when its done, end of.

Today, less than a year later, she had the same leak again. I come over, pull things apart, lift the rear carpet...and those two fucking rags are still under there. My brain hurts.

Right? So either they removed all the front/rear trim pieces and seats to put the new kit in but somehow decided, "Hey lets leave those nasty wet rags in though." Or, they did jack shit but maybe give her carpet a good cleaning to look nice, kept the new kit on the shelf.

I don't even know if its worth getting in touch with them. That was like a $600 bill.
I wish I could go buy her a new car.

Seems unusual for a Subaru dealer. But maybe not?
