    :D:p:D Hell yeah brotha!

We are constantly doing house projects, so usually covered with saw dust, concrete, sheet rock, dirt from the garden, etc. with this new truck find myself changing my clothes when I need to run to the hardware store, where my old one I didn’t care.

Do like the plastic/vinyl door panels. The old truck was cloth, that stain by the armrest is a pain to get out.

I like my Sport because I do lots of on road driving, I don’t have time to off road. Is it something I’ll do one day? Yes, absolutely. Will I upgrade my truck or buy a new truck before I do? Yes, absolutely. But as someone who just wants a truck that drives good and looks nice, I like my sport.

oh and the hood scoop looks cool

That 4 banger MT was an excellent combo, it's a real shame they only kept it for 2016 and 2017.

Yeah shame, not the end of the world. Perfect little run around small core vehicle. Love mine, but it is almost a little too nice for what I do, actually use it as a truck, ya know…

Basically wanted the utility package with a V6 manual. Would of been nice to get rubber flooring and vinyl seats from the factory, but nothing some weather techs and seat covers couldn’t fix.

    lol!

    Don't I know it....

My Inferno OR has the black flares, and I replaced the chrome bumper caps with matte black ones to match, and then blacked our the chrome badging...

That is exactly what I’m going for. Except mine is silver. Good looking truck man! (Now put a Sport hood on that thing and it’ll be perfect! Hahaha).

I do miss having a manual transmission. Drove one my entire life until a few years ago.

They are loads of fun. I’ll drive MT until I absolutely have no other choice. Hopefully my baby lasts me at least 20 years.

As a teenager, I had a heck of a time learning how to drive stick-shift...on the center console as well as on the steering column.

It was tedious then but more fun doing something new.

I had a blast with my daughters Silver Y2K VW Turbo Beetle! Quick-shift gearing and spirited acceleration from a 1.8L engine!

EDIT: Her 2015 GTI is just as fun!!!

Having that transmission in a truck isn't as fun...probably better for towing than an automatic.

I'm just glad both my daughters learned how to drive manual transmissions...the wife...not so much. lol

Did you try driving a 3rd gen manual?

    How bout, no.

I have to admit, I have not...

But I get the gist of a manual...it has its purpose...and more enjoyable on certain powertrains.

    It's only opinion...I won't buy/borrow someone's 3rd Gen to get a taste...I estimate it won't be much different.

    Again...just opinion.
