I just snagged the Renogy 1000watt inverter for $162. When we had a toy-hauler with generator we had a huge panini sandwich maker. Bought this 760 watt single sandwich George Forman and it works great with the Renogy and SOK 206Ah battery. Now if my wedge would just get here so I could mount all this.

Building a power box for my wedge. Includes 100amphr SOK, Craftsman tool box to carry it in with 6 USB outlets, 1 cigarette/12v plug, 8 Anderson plugs, and a voltage meter. All fused. Input will be via a Renogy DC to DC, MPPT, so solar and alternator. Could have bought a solar generator for about the same, but parts are easily replaceable by me. And the 100 amphr battery can actually discharge nearly 100 amphrs! Unlike most solar generators.

I have the renogy DC to DC with MPPT, have been really happy with it. Battery seldom drops below 85% on trips with just fridge, lights and device charging.

Random picture as an example but has anybody thought of or built a tub floor for their camper, kind of like an old thought is to try and make the camper more of a slide in camper. Idea is to have it better sealed for the elements, kind of like the one below??

No. I don’t need extra weight and any leaking is so minimal from power washing and spraying at the top of the tailgate below the rear window.

Wasn’t that bad in person. I was actually parked closer than that but decided to move it back a few feet especially before the festivities started..

Anyone ever seen some sort of "rain gutter" for lack of a better term that attaches to the front corners of a wedge type camper? Something to redirect the rain either back or in?

Having an issue with my OVS wedge where the front corners are directly over the rear doors and windows. RTT is the same width as the cab. Any sort of rain coupled with the rake of the truck pretty much makes it impossible to get in the rear doors without everything getting soaked.

Josh makes these for the GFC, they work great for keeping water out of the back doors of my Dual Cab:

Sweet thats pretty close to what I had in mind. Does Josh have an account on here? Want to check the dimensions to see if it will fit my RTT.

If anyone happens to know of any similar products Id love to see them. The RV rain strip stuff is a good idea but I dont think it will work too good on my particular RTT
