It depends where you go, it is a little on the longer side but Potomac and the Bay would be good. Occoquan should be decent, but that's starting to get away from quick maneuvering into point it straight and paddle for hours. The 15.5-17.5 ft length may fare better around here, especially with sone of the reservoirs.

Garth channel is pretty good. Lots of variety on there. I like the highway as well.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
My concern is the weight capacity and the footwell area. Max weight at 300 pounds wouldn't do me a whole lot of good unless I make it a submarine. The smaller ones that can handle the weight don't have the foot well space for the frigates below my ankles. The appeal with the buddy of mine back in MI was to be able to load up for a week in dual tandems and just cruise the lakes and camp. Smaller would be nicer, but they just don't have the room I need unless I went open well.

I've been a Garth fan ever since I saw him in Detroit at the Hoedown, a three day country music fest that ran for 15 years or so. No Fences album was out and he had five big songs from that album. So I went down there for the afternoon to actually see the headliner, and was just impressed by the performance. I bought the album the next day. Saw him 15 years later, and what a show.

Anyway, now and then I just hear something that surprises me. And it's one of the few channels that doesn't operate on the top 40 playlist, which is another reason to like it.

Don't know if you heard, but Santana has a special channel starting on 26 today.

Question from the cheap seats. I'm starting to seriously look at wheels for a road set of tires, and keep what I have for off-road. (KO2's are heavy). Started looking at American made (vs China) and found these. But the price is a but surprising. Anything I should be concerned about with company, construction, price? TIA.

I see nothing wrong with them. Had to look them up. As soon as I seen the name, figured you are good. U.S. wheel, have been doing steel wheels for years. The Aluminum must be a new venture in their product line. If I was looking, I’d go for it.

Verify hub size. Specs. say 108. Not sure what the taco is. I’d try to find some reviews as well.

They're a good company. When you're looking at wheels, see what certifications they have.

    All,
Received a PM over on T4R about some Depo fogs for my 3rd gen 4Runner. They have the mounting brackets, hardware needed to mount and wiring harness. Guy is saying he’ll let them go for $100 + shipping. He sent pictures and they appear to be in good condition, no rust on the brackets or anything, no cracks in the lenses. I’m wanting a set badly and I think I’m gonna go for it, but want some feedback first. Thanks

    No drive thru incidents yet!

Survived about 300 miles of torrential downpour with no traction control or ABS . still haven't fixed the sensor I broke. 480 miles total today and now I'm somewhere in Kentucky at a very nice state park cabin

Good move breaking it up into 2 days. What part of the drive did you see the heavy rain?

Most of the rain was was on 64 in VA and the west Virginia parkway section. Seemed it was either clear or heavy rain without any in-between. Today does look like better weather

Meeting Hao at a Costco in Indy and noon, so that's all squared away as well
