Didn't get the house - still looking. If you know folks within, i dunno, like 30 minute drive from Aberdeen Proving Ground and wanna sell their house soon, holler? We're looking for a solid back yard (two dogs need room - one's a vizsla and needs to run); Room for two cars and a Truck. No open-floor-plans, please, though I could probably tolerate a little over-lap between a den/family room and a kitchen but not much. <$500k. About 2000sq feet-ish.

 

My wife said the agent she works with doesn’t have any houses right now. She says the market is crazy. The realtor put an offer in for someone 15k over asking plus an appraisal gap and still didn’t get it.

Since I moved here to the cabin full time I plan to sell my house in Baltimore. I had a 26x28 3 car garage built in 2016 so before I sell I just gotta figure out what I'm gonna do with my multiple tool boxes, shop equipment, classic motorcycles, project Landcruiser ect... Unfortunately no garage yet here at the cabin. I wish I could take the garage with me lol. I'm now thinking of taking my heavy duty 18x41 carport down and bring that here to the cabin. I'm thinking of mounting the carport to a concrete slab (I finally found a concrete co that comes up here) and enclosing it into a garage.

 

Thats not a bad idea! I’m sure trying to get all that stuff up your way will be a challenge too. Tool boxes are a pain to move. Luckily I only ever had to move tool boxes work supplied. Also luckily, the state supplied my toolbox when I worked on the medivacs.
How much of a pain would that car port be to take down?

 

Couple of minutes with a sawzall and it is down, more if you want to reuse it later.

 

Disassembling the car port and moving it to the mountain sounds like a good idea, and easier on the budget until you get the "dream shop" built. Self storage units are just stupidly expensive around Baltimore but you might have to do it for a month or 2 while you get the car port moved and closed in. How about a sea container for secure storage on the property? You could stash the projects that can wait deep inside and keep the tools that you need access to near the doors. I have no idea what they cost or how hard it would be to get one delivered, it's just an idea.

 

Sounds like most Giant stores have them. I found them on an end cap, not in the goldfish section.

I have to say they’re surprisingly good. If anything, dare I say….a little heavy on the old bay? It’s definitely just a coating, not baked inside. I don’t think there’s as much cheese flavor as the regular cheddars, but I also don’t think it’s just the plain kind, so I think it’s a new cracker recipe too. But really hard to tell with all the old bay.

 

Alright so just a bag of cheddars dump some old bay in and shake bag sounds like it would be good too

Good morning peeps. I've been fighting the Covid crud all week, this is the 1st morning where I felt I had a tiny bit of energy.

 

Sorry to hear that. I'm still dealing with this awful sciatic nerve pain. I had injections in my lower back a little over a week ago and so far no relief. Luckily my new job is very understanding and allows me to sit when needed. And I'm in training as a cnc operator, cnc is alot easier to run than the previous machine.

 

Glad you’re feeling better. Seems like a lot of people got it within the past 2 weeks or so.

 

Sorry to hear that the shots didn't help, but it's great that your new job had medical benefits and they're being supportive to help you. Congrats on getting some CNC experience, it's a great skill set to learn.

 

Thanks. I'm 99.875% positive that it came from the new job, too many people in too close of a proximity of each other. It's just another reason for me to find a better place.

 

I spied these yesterday, it's tempting but I really don't need another set of tires in the shed right now.

2022 Tacoma has less than 3k miles on it. I am getting the below dash notification when the key is turned to on. Any thoughts?
