Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.
My dealer seldom gets manuals, and never ones with cool options. I go there today and they have a 2011 black sport with the 6sp manual 4x4 and the bluetooth control.

Someone must have special ordered this thing and then backed out.
It is pretty much the way I would want one...
    Tempted.
Must pay off my 07 AC sport....

Are these more numerous anywhere else in the country? Usually with the Gulf States distributor, they don't have cool factory options and add lots of "port" installed options.

That's the exact truck I wanted but was told there were no manuals in the entire southern region, he even told me that he's never had a single manual Tacoma on the lot although it's a relatively new dealership.

I could have ordered one but I didn't want to wait the 6-8 weeks he said it would take so I opted for a magnetic grey TRD Off Road automatic.

I would jump on that if you can find a way to do it, I imagine it won't be there long.

No manuals in the entire southern region? Sounds like a load of crap. Dealers would rather sell what they have on-hand than to have you order, or get another one via. dealer trade.
Such a big purchase, it seriously wasn't worth waiting 2 months to get exactly what you want? I can't talk though, I've been there, done that before. ;)

i wanted a manual 4x4 double cab OR or sport and looking at the build sheets for the time frame i was buying, there were none to be had in my region, period. wait time for the build was 6 to 8 weeks (though i feared it to be longer), and considering the time frame (pre-winter) and that i sold my off-road vehicle prior to looking, i needed a truck, so i settled for a manual 4x4 double cab sr5.

Whats the big deal? I just bought my 4x4 DC stick a month ago and dealer had 2 on the lot, the other one had the ugly beige interior, I picked mine only because it had a black interior.
I never knew they were hard to find

It was the TRD off road with the 16" BF Goodrich tires, no tow package, but it was $1000 more than my TRD Sport, I think I got the better deal with the 17" tires and the tow package.

ahh, i c. might be a color thing. for instance, they had a white one on a local lot, which i drove to experience the manual before i bought, but when it came to silver, there were none in the region, period. maybe the case is the same for the OPs color and region. i looked at the sheet that they supply the dealers bi-monthly or whatever, and my broker (who i actually got the truck from) had the same data, even though he was pulling from a dealer that was across the state.

I checked several dealerships in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston and a few smaller cities and didn't find a single double cab TRD Off Road with a manual transmission. The dealer said they were searching the region to see if they could have one delivered but couldn't locate one. It's fine though, I guess I could have waited but after seeing the truck I bought I didn't really want to.

Actually I'm an idiot, I left out a piece of important info. I gave the dealership strict instructions to only look for black or magnetic grey, that I wasn't interested in any other colors. So there may have been manual double cab TRD Off Roads, but I wouldn't have known.
