You know...it's funny when I have the same feeling but let someone else lead the charge!

    And agree with them...

It's part of my learning curve on a forum. lol

Sure it does, but only if it is functioning for an intercooler.

They're too far gone with their opinion that even your proof means nothing.

Yeah it is kinda funny…I mean it is all the same truck, just optioned differently. Willing to bet my lowly SR sees more dirt than most ORs…

I don't get the argument....to persuade that Skewps are meaningless.

    Why go that route?

It goes back to the days (during early America birth) when people made proclamations to make a point.

Don’t care when it comes down to it, even though I don’t have one, do kinda likes the looks of it even if it is nonfunctional. Do think a Sport model should be a lowered either 2WD or AWD street oriented truck. Like the old Toyota X-Runner. Though GM did it better with the Syclone.

There is a company making an updated V8 version of the old Syclone. Tacoma version with the Tundra 5.7 would be fairly badass. I am not much into street trucks, but they do have their place.

This with a mild body kit wouldn’t be bad.

No, not for me. A functional hood scoop is has a purpose. If it is well designed, and works, it has a function that makes it attractive.

A fake hood scoop, well thats just lame. Looks cool, but, hell, I have met alot of women that look cool till you get to know them.

I will always default to capabilities over looks if the price point for both options are equal. Choosing looks over capabilities certainly says something about those who go that route.

What’s worse a fake scoop, or guys who toss every off-road bolt-on part on their trucks and never take them in the dirt?

The bed rack, RTT, shovel, maxtrax, gas jugs seem to be awful popular in these parts…all without a spec of dirt on them.

    Well the second one.

Please don't think I am knocking the sport it is the prettiest after the second gen.

I just think they should of made the dang ol' scoop work.

I mean they could of routed under the dash with a debris ejector and then had the worlds only truck with a ball cooler.

    Forced air ball cooler!!

It would make the sport the most sought-after vehicle on the planet.

If you are not old you will think I am kidding, but old trucks had vents that blew on your feet, legs, and crotch.
That and wind windows at 55 was actually pretty close to heaven after a hard days work.

Yeah, I miss wing windows, my ‘76 F250, and ‘73 VW Bus had those. FJ 40s had footwell vents.

The ‘71 Chevelle I owned, had a cowl induction hood, questionable if it added any performance, was cool to see the flap open up when you mashed down on the throttle.
