My son actually mowed the yard today. I guess mom told him she'd pay some of his fuel bill. But anyways I have tools to pick up and put away and looks like a storm brewing so hope to visit you all later.

Ok, there’s probably a better thread to post this on but I’m sure someone here can answer.
I’m dropping off my truck for a bunch of service that I’m too lazy to do myself.
106K, so it’s due for a bunch of things - all fluids, tires, state inspection, plugs, serpentine belt.
Haven’t done anything but oil changes and front brakes since most of the above was done at I think 30K.
Anything else I should do while it’s there?
Should I have the water pump replaced for shits & giggles?
Dropping it off at the local garage on Sunday, as I’m flying to LA Monday morning for a few days.

Has anyone ever made a house payment anonymously?

Brother in law is experiencing some pretty rough medical issues now. Just got told he is going on disability. Never going back to work as a welder/fabricator.

I know they are 2 payments late.

Will making payments mess with disability?

Truly, I have no idea with this.

Precisely what I was going to suggest as I was reading your post. You're already most of the way there, might as well finish it.

Never done it but this site lists some requirements.

I've never contacted a financial institution to pay someone's payment, but I have wrote checks for people's payments. Some institutions won't allow you to make a payment on someone's behalf. You may have to talk to him and let him know , even tho you don't really want to. No , it won't affect his disability.

Prayers out to you Fargo. We just had someone in the extended family get a heavy diagnosis, puts things in perspective quick.

Shake down on the camper went well, ac runs cold cold and thank God, its about 147 right now in the sun. Only pic I took, just because I love this truck.

Depends on where his Mortgage is set up through small town local banks are great to deal with.

The bigger Banks for the most Suck

It should not effect that disability all up to the Doctors and maybe his Lawyer each case is different

We did this with a coworker who was hurt on the job !

It is a small town, with fairly local branch. I guess Monday I'll stop in and ask. It is the town I grew up in, maybe I'll get lucky and know some of the peeps working there.

Thank you. I think the turd will polish up nicely and might even shine a little bit. Going to give new polishing tool a try soon.
It's actually solid throughout top to bottom so far as body and frame. It's only been in Nebraska for 4-5 years. Arizona before that. It still needs a bit of TLC for sure. I think valve covers leaking pretty bad.

Have the head gaskets been changed?

The guy who I purchased it from said he check the VIN with Toyota and it's never had them done. I really don't know. I am aware of the issues with them. Two friends had theirs in for head gaskets more than once...both of them.

Changing the coolant fairly frequently helps with head gasket protection. I do the Subaru every second year.
