My DD fog lights are one of the best purchases I've made on my truck. Really temped to replace the Squadron Pros I have in my bumper with another DD set because of the better lighting for when the Utah desert turns pitch black ahead of desert race season.

Man, I have not done shit with Reptar forever now.

With my newfound working area, I'm glad to start getting shit done at my own place! Been so very long since I had my own garage. Got the bulk of my tools out now, just need to buy wall cabinets and a large drawer/cabinet for consumables.

    20220424_131017.jpg

Onto the LC; with the rain lately I had accumulated quite a bit of surface rust. Off the bitch goes!

    20220424_082805.jpg

Hit it for the longest time with my wire wheel. After that, a bit of acetone to wipe it clean and on with the primer.

    20220424_093454.jpg

Not trying to win any beauty contests, this was more or less just to protect the surface.

    All good to go!

And if anyone asks about the drip pan, shitbox life got it? :luvya:

Oh my shitbox has been and is reliable as an 80 series can be (a tank).

It just leaks from the power steering low pressure hoses :bananadead:

I'm no longer in Sanger btw!

While everyone's lifting their trucks, I lowered my LC :burp:

Had a fun ass time today as @El Taco Diablo hosted a mod party at his house. His son, as well as @essjay was there so plenty of hands on deck to help each other out.

What's funny is that the only real difficult part is the constant raising and lowering due to all the damn travel

    20220514_095019.jpg

Got that Bluetooth Suspension Mod :burp:

    20220514_095333.jpg

I must say, this was just to raise it and get the jackstands out from under the frame; so much droop!

    20220514_100901.jpg

Tire wasn't even off the ground, had plenty more to go. At this point my brake lines were my limit straps.

    20220514_103335.jpg

    Onto the rears.

Chris meanwhile was replacing his serpentine belt while Matt and Robert were back and forth between helping both of us.

    20220514_115150.jpg

    Shocks and coils are in!

    20220514_140014.jpg

    20220514_140107.jpg

I must say, I'm freaking stoked about the new stance.

    20220514_154827.jpg

The front end sits just a hair higher, yet the rear lowered quite a bit so she sits damn near level.

The drive back? Man, it drives soooooo much better now!

I'm super stoked about it. Just need to find some time next month to do a shakedown run.

Thinking we need to get a gathering going.

Will just need to find out what Friday works best for Matt and Chris, but my Fridays for June are pretty clear.

Why'd you put the rear bump lowering blocks on?

    I didn't!

Meant to take them off, especially since the rear sits a tad lower. They're old (and dirty) as you can see.

They're coming off before a shakedown run.

You have stock equivalent springs, as long as your shock don't bottom out you can take those blocks out and gain more total uptravel

    Oh for sure.

If you noticed up above, my damn shocks have more travel than my coils even.

I need to invest in an extended brake line for the rear.

Might put a tiny coil spacer in the rear if you want a bit of rake then
