Which cell phone holder are you using?

I use Proclip MagSafe mounts in my other vehicles and went with the Hondogarage Unholy mount and perfect squeeze this time around. Super convenient and I’m liking the perfect squeeze to get the phone in and out quickly and easily.

 

Thrilled with the ProClip mounts for the Taco and CX-5! Rock solid. Not cheap, but I have zero regrets and highly recommend them.

This is the best option I ever found.. Knew some guys who had them in thier side by sides and I figured if it don't fall off for them I should be good... Do not regret.. It really is good... Only thing is I glued they rubber ends on as they can fall off sometimes

Yours looks great!! I still need to hardwire my mount - maybe this week. The knobs are from AJT Design. I originally went with RAV4 knobs but like the larger color matched ones from AJT better.

 

My pocket, the clip on answer device answer the phone I never touch it driving.

That being said, I do think the Hondo is a little more secure. Time will tell but the Offroam has never moved.

This has been the best one I've found locally thus far. I hate locally available vent clips, but this one is pretty awesome. Where I have it placed does unfortunately block my air vent, but currently that's not an issue. I may buy a new adhesive pad for it and place it elsewhere if this summer gets too warm.

Not my vehicle, but this is how it looks set up.

 

WTF people just install the DMM mount and all the aftermarket options are all there. (RAM mounts and the like) No adhesive. No screwing or drilling holes into obvious places. No blocking the vents. Yeah there's an install process but it's not that difficult at all. You're welcome

I can't stand having my phone up above the dash line, like with the DMM, can't use magnetic mounts (phone's too heavy and kills wireless charging). Will try this for a couple of days and if I end up happy with it, I'll start filing down dash panels so they're not sticking out, and have something more visually appealing done than a piece of home-bent 14 gauge galvanized steel.

Surprisingly, even without a single screw, damn thing is solid.

I'm using the Roam Offroad as well. I like it. Minimal and secure. I use the CarPlay Air 2 wireless adaptor as well. I like the clean look with no cords.

 

Thats what I am currently deciding to get for my 2022 Taco. Could you possibly post a pic of the mount in your tacoma if you don't mind?
