Goodmorning crew, feeling groggy still this morning. Got some clothes in the washer, soon as they're ready for the dryer, I'll put those in and try and sneak off and clean business center so wife doesn't insist on helping. I think she overdone it working around the house yesterday. I feel like she just needs to rest and see if that blood number increases more.
Then later today need to do major straightening up of work areas....shop around for a Jeep radiator. This radiator leaking just like the previous one.

Motor in and running. I'm getting good AC voltage out of the stator, but nothing DC. I'm thinking the voltage rectifier is bad.

21 volts AC at idle is very good.

Off to Amazon I go.

Same ones used on mower batteries. I got them all over. Just I weird coincidence that it stuck in the lug.

 

I often wonder if a smaller Toyota truck from like the mid 80's wouldn't sell good. Just downsize the thing back and give me heat and cold air, a reliable 22RE engine and plain old manual transmission and crank windows, with a little room behind the rear seat Xtra cab style. Don't even need intermittent wipers.
Just plain. Solid axles or IFS either one.

Mowed the lawn yesterday, washing clothes and, weather permitting, cleaning windows today. Temperature is good but the wind might dry out my Windex before I can squeegee it. Gotta move quick.

 

I've wondered the same thing.

For me personally, I've become too spoiled and accustomed to amenities to go completely stripped back to only the essentials.

I still just want my wife's Hybrid platform in my truck.

 

Id ok with it, just needs A/C

 

I wish you were closer, or gas wasn't so expensive. I need something to replace my current Tacoma.

 

You probably lost 99% of buyers when you said manual transmission. We here are the minority that would buy something like that...
