I'd buy a manual. I've only ever driven autos, but I learned to drive with a stick.

I've had several stick's in my life. My left knee occasionally (but more frequently) flaring up has put a kibosh on daily driving one unfortunately. Both Tacoma's are autos...

    Like this??
A neighbor had one (in the 70's) with a lift off hard top, the quarter window was round and tinted purple -- I coveted that car.

To a small group of eccentrics (like some of us) yes.
To the original market who favored those trucks like local delivery for NAPA stores and such, yes.
To mass market -- not a chance.

There would not be enough of a market to tool up a production plant Then tooling to make all new drive train parts all made in China

If I could still move even like 10 years ago I would put one together for you!

I have far to many and no real local interest I hate to see them go for scrap.

Mine was a '73. Basically the same as that one but with the bulges on the hood.

I’m so confused. What happened to the poll? If we’re short on ideas, how about:
    Can you drive a stick?

    Happy Sunday afternoon all :hattip:

While cleaning the windows, the neighbors down the street are having a party (graduation, probably) and there's got to be about 100 people there. One ladies voice is carrying over everyone else's and she has a horribly fake sounding laugh.

I could still hear her when I went into the garage.

I bought it as a test run to see if I was a "work on an old car" guy. Turns out I'm not (no surprise) so when the niece moved in with us, it found a new home.

It was fun while I had it, though.
