    my tacoma 2014 non JBL radio screen is white all the time....any solutions???

    Time to replace it.

    The heatsink on the U/I module has come loose, or there’s a broken cold solder, or there’s a break in the screen ribbon cable etc. Either way, it’s not worth repairing. Ask what you’d like to have for features, then we’ll go from there.

    *edit*. Just a thought. You could check the Buy and sell here, to find a factory replacement, but remember this problem or something like it will happen again. Yours is a standard problem on OEM headunits.

    thanks...ill follow your recommendation..not wasting my time on repairs...its a pity my Tacoma is 2014 with only 5k miles and this happened...s...happens

    5k miles. A friendly reminder your due for the first oil change, lol.

    There’s plenty who won’t get an aftermarket head unit. Less than 6 months after buying mine a few years ago, I replaced mine. The difference in sound quality is night and day. I got the steering wheel controls interface, license plate frame backup camera, and replaced all speakers. I can say I’m very happy with it. The only thing I should have done is sound deadening.
