Has anyone commissioned a local artist for a sketched or painted dog portrait? Looking for recommendations to have one done for a gift

 

Just flew into COS about an hour ago. Wasn't sure if I'd make it tonight. They got the fire by the airport out. No activity by the time I got there and it was too dark to see the burned area, but it smelled charred.

Cashing in on my inflated house value has looked very tempting this week.

 

Not local..... My wife's aunt is an art teacher. One of her students has done portraits for us... If you want I can see about her contact info. In Alabama I believe

 

Those things are so expensive! Would love one but a second mortgage doesn't sound fun.

Did you get in before or after the price hike? Coworker just got his last week that he preordered last year. They said at first the price would jump due to parts cost increasing but agreed to honor the original price so he kept the preorder. Showed up early too. I was with him on the test drive, sounds like a spaceship taking off. They're pretty cool

I've been seeing this Rivian while driving on 36 and yesterday I finally came across it parked, so I snapped a photo.

If I could do a 1:1 trade with my Tacoma for one, I would do it, but at their pre-price hike, it was too expensive. Now the price is outlandish.

It's a cool truck, but for the price, I'd probably rather just get the Lightning with the extended battery pack (but then I'd be in a full size truck that is too big).

 

too big is right. i am on the same page as you. 1-1 trade or buy at pre price.

 

I actually cancelled my Ford Lightning deposit because as much as I like the truck (and it's fast as hell), it's too big. I don't need a full size. In fact, I could get away with a regular cab 2nd gen Taco if they had offered them with a V6.
