i will say update from the trans cooler upgrade my transmissions much happier. Has not had any heavy or long trips yet (will be heading up near tahoe this weekend) but so far in mild 30 min drives its maxed at 157 at the pan temp. I was able to get it higher the other day but never went above 180 and only briefly Its been colder out but the truck seems happier.

Also just upgraded my wilwoods to stoptech work 2 piece slotted in the front and ditched the drums for stoptech kit. Hawk pads up front and stoptech sports in the rear.

    It's DLX son!
How does it feel in terms of pedal effort/squishy-ness?

I'd love to go to discs in the back but I'm already annoyed by the pedal feel of the bigger 4runner brakes up front combined with the trd off road hydro brake booster. Don't want to make it worse.

@nudavinci64, how well does the brake upgrade work with the electronic master on the TRD OR?

Honestly that could be a few things. I had my 6 piston wilwoods and the rear the last few weeks and I though it was great. Now I swapped in the stop techs as the pistons are fitted for Tacoma’s so I need to see how it goes. It’s def firm. feels better than the 4Runner and drums. Still fresh but have a linger trip this weekend so will give it a go. A big issue in most filks is the heavy trucks rather than the 4Runner or other setups that and big tires. Hoping the front stop techs are better since they are setup for the taco. The wilwoods were 4Runner spec.

Can you tell me about the rear disk brake kit? I was on StopTech's web site, and did not see it listed.

well, every 2 day job can get delayed by the smallest of things. lose 1:censored:ing valve spring keeper and another wait. hoping its at the dealer. may get most of the springs swapped on the drivers side today. what a difficult task to do cam swaps in vehicle. 8 hrs to do one side. :bananadead:

Can someone remind me the approximate added weight of having a supercharger? I'd guess that it's under 100lbs with the pulleys/idlers, intercooler coolant, extra hoses/bolts/studs and belt.

I'm guessing that it's probably a non-issue when deciding front suspension coils since my front end is essentially stock weight other than an aluminum skid plate and AGM battery.
