Came down to one goal, could have went went either way l thought the Pens were gonna win it. Like you said, next year hella fight though.

Oettinger was amazing. A great game tonight.

 

Oettingers performance best of any goalie in the playoffs, he gave Dallas every chance to win in the OT, Dallas offense just couldn’t get it done.

 

Agreed at least the winner had to dig deep

I'm already nauseated by the over-hyped Battle of Albortion commercials and I haven't even seen one yet

 

I flew into Edmonton many years ago it was a city in the middle of a huge wheat field lol. It’s grown a bit since then. Interesting one province has two NHL teams but then again it’s a huge province.

 

Bummed about the Pens, but not shocked. That was a lot to overcome, this series w/ all the injuries relying on 3rd goalie etc. And it seems afterwards, Jarry was really probably not ready to go last night, even though he played decent. Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes. It will be interesting to see how the offseason plays out and see if Geno and Letang are still Penguins. Also, see what happens with Rust. We still have Sid and Jake G to build around, so I think even a rebuild on the fly is possible (if Letang and Geno are gone.) I personally think Letang will stay but Geno probably go unless he takes a major pay cut.

The Calgary/Dallas game was incredible. Like I've been saying all series, Oettinger has been outstanding. That might be the best game/series that I've ever seen a goalie play. He was getting drilled all series and kept making Grade-A save, after Grade-A save. Insane. Calgary deserved to win though and I'm happy they did. Should make for a nice match-up with Edmonton.
