Quick 500km trip to pickup the bike and bring to the mountains for the summer.
3600km in 11 days on the new Taco and it’s doing fine.
    9.64l/100km empty
Installed a KDMax tune and wow what an improvement.
900lb bike back the same trip
    11.22ltrs/100km
Handles the weight without effort. Passing a truck, looked at speedo and I got to160km/hr real quick, with a bike in the back. More mods next weekupload_2022-5-15_21-17-34.jpg

Haha yeah you were probably over the payload limit with you in the truck. Toyota must be super conservative in their limits.

That’s a sweet bike. Never thought one would fit in a Tacoma.

That's a Victory Vision. I had one years back. Excellent touring bike, I miss it.

I enjoy seeing that in the back of a 'Taco. I have an F6B and wondered from time to time if I would be able to truck it around like that.

OP, did you use something to reinforce the tailgate with that rear wheel resting on it?

Yeah I’ve had my Vision for 9yrs now. After we finished a Mexican tour in Jan 2020 it’s been stuck in Arizona. I got a 2’x2’ piece of 3/4” plywood and set on the tailgate under the ramp and then slid it so it rests on the box and tailgate to distribute weight. Used tuck tape to keep plywood in place. Also removed front half of the fender of the bike. The Harley fella that rode it back north for me had high praises for the bike. Now he’s eyeballing Tacoma’s. Haha

I miss Victory. I understand why Polaris switched everything over to the Indian name, and I’ve been riding an Indian for a year now, but the Victory name wasn’t beholden to any heritage or old timer tassel dead weight. The Victory Gunner is, I believe, the best budget cruiser on the market. Never got to ride a Victory bagger but man are they cool! :)

Must post gratuitous picture of my past Vision (only one I have). Also had a highly modified Rocket. Still have the DR...
