I use to have 3 2x10 8' planks that hooked to a raised cross bar coming from my trailer hitch to the tailgate level. I would ride my snowmobile right up into my tundras bed. A few times i hit the other side of the bed with the ski tips so hard, it bent the beds back side sheet metal nearly taking out my rear window. You get some snow and ice on those plastic bed liners, and you don't stop so good.

Loading sleds into a pickup bed with a ramp is sketchy. Don't care what anyone says. I've done it tons of times, and luckily never had an issue, but you need decent speed to get up the ramp and nearly stop on a dime once in the bed. I stopped doing it when I traded my F150 for my Tacoma. Trailer only now for me.

If you can’t walk the bike up into the truck bed on two ramps, well, what more needs to be said. I guess just send it in hot and try to hold on, fuck a bunch of braking.

If you mean the snowmobile, they now have for years either mechanical reverse or electric that reverses the engine direction through the sleds electronics. Back in the day it was a goof to some that use to see me unload the sled going in reverse down those wooden ramps.

Loading, or riding a bike up a ramp is way easier than some think. I could recall back in the 80's some bike rides we did were pretty sketchy when crossing a river that the bridge was out. We use ride one of the steeI beams to the other side. Imo, that separated the sane riders from the ones with a death wish. When we returned back to the trucks, loading the bikes became child's play.
