    You cut fenders?
That’s the only thing is I don’t feel confident cutting the fenders and I’m on -38 offset which has made my rub worse probably have to cut down my arb.

Probably 40’s honestly. I’ve gone back and forth on 37’s first but I know 40’s are the end game. I’ll break what’s weak and upgrade it then.

I had to trim a lot to clear 35’s on regular travel. I’d shoot for a minimum of half an inch more when you clearance everything. That’ll account for any frame flex, cab movement etc. when you wheel it.

Your not going to be able to fit 35’s with -38 wheels unless you do a cab mount relocate and get some spc or do the JD pivot kit not likely gonna take a lot of work with those wheels. Luckily you know a guy who can put the cab mount relocate on if you wanted to go that route

DRT makes one that plates the frame first so that doesn't happen.

HERE COMES THE HEAT: Birmingham’s official high yesterday was 91 degrees; the first day with a high of 90 or higher this year (based on the official observations at the airport). The average date of our first 90 degree day is May 23, so we are a few days early this year. Look out for low to mid 90s later this week (Wednesday through Friday)… it will be the hottest weather so far this year as an upper ridge strengthens over the region.

FYI… the earliest 90 degree day on record came way back in 1907, when the high in Birmingham was 90 on March 21.

We will mention a few isolated storms later today, mainly over the southern half of the state. Like yesterday, where storms do form, they could produce small hail and gusty winds, but most of the state will stay dry. The high today will be in the mid to upper 80s.

The rest of the week looks mostly dry with sunny days and fair nights under the ridge. A few spotty showers could show up Wednesday over the Tennessee Valley of far North Alabama.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: The upper ridge begins to weaken, and as a cold front approaches we expect an increase in showers and storms. Understand the weekend won’t be a “washout”, but a passing shower or thunderstorm is very possible from time to time. The sky will be occasionally cloudy, and highs will drop back into the low to mid 80s.

NEXT WEEK: For now the week looks fairly routine with warm, humid days and some risk of random, scattered showers and storms pretty much on a daily basis. Highs will be mostly in the mid to upper 80s… See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

ON THIS DATE IN 1989: Thunderstorms developing ahead of a cold front produced severe weather in the south-central U.S. Thunderstorms spawned twenty tornadoes, and there were 180 reports of large hail and damaging winds. A tornado in Cleburne, Texas caused thirty million dollars damage. A violent F-4 tornado touched down near Brackettville, Texas and a strong F-3 tornado killed one person and injured 28 others at Jarrell, Texas

I purchased a different one and installed it ended up with the same results as my existing gauge. Now from what I’ve been reading it could be something to do with a wheel sensor for the ABS or the ABS control module that’s what I’ll be doing next but I’m gonna wait till this trip is over because who knows what gas is gonna cost for this trip ha ha

Yep DRT the only way to go, those are solid. Just saw also they making some replacement lowers that slide the lower 3/4 inch away from the cab mount. Might be worth the look into but who knows how much that gonna cost.

Don't some people claim that a CMC/cab relocate will make the Tacoma "deadly b/c the tire will hit the cab and kill you"? I never really understood that, but swear I have seen folks talk about it
