Pretty dang good weekend for you then!

This is how I spent mine, gathering up tools and supplies to throw together some planter boxes out of some scrap junk lumber:

    EEE20B33-3A43-4C59-9513-E6CF6AF3B961.jpg

I had a bunch of lumber left over from a job where I had to brace a ceiling to tear off an outside wall and replace water damage, so most of this lumber ended up only having 3-6” or less cut off of it and obviously couldn't be taken back, so we made the most out of it!

This was also my first time using a colored wood stain with poly already in it. The coverage was pretty thin even after two coats but I think it worked perfect for this application and a quart was about the perfect amount!

Those came out great! My wife has been asking for a set of raised planter boxes in the yard for a while now for veggies and herbs… but sadly, she has a black thumb for gardening. Lol! Whatever she plants, she somehow kills. Needless to say, I keep coming up with other reasons as to why I’ve yet to make a set. Maybe it’s about time to…

Just dont let her get a hold of Pinterest or the design will change 5 times within the building process

I had a slightly snazzier design in mind and ended up changing on the fly so that I had less than 20” of waste total. And all of that got chopped up to go in the fire pit, so it wasnt really even waste at that point :anonymous:

    Mornin' Jim.

Yea, even at 150 it's still a hell of a deal. With a deal like this, you would have still make out switching the widows out for windoors, and adding carpet if it needed it. Oh, and the clamps.

I took trash to the dump this weekend. I was able to cram 12 - 55 gal plastic bags (that had been squished a little and tied off) and then likely 25 lbs of cardboard. I put the larger boxes in the front seat. I also use a bed extender with the tailgate down and the cap window flat against the top bags back there and bungie cords holding everything in place. The dump is only like 5 miles away. I take the dogs and we take the long way through the country. Down old 1.5 lane roads past horses and stuff.

I like a cap. A lot! One of these days I am gonna upgrade and get a high rise or mid height or whatever it's called but I was the full rear door. That's a $1.5 option though! First more armor.

If you need a hand, let me know. All you should need though are some ramps and wrenches. Nothing wrong with just getting this far off road either. Like you said, the clunks were enough, and yep, a wedged stick the wrong way has done a lot of people in. That's all it takes. Hell, look up "why should I remove the tailpipe for off-roading". I never thought it was necessary until I saw a video of a guy use a tow strap to try to pull one free from a rear tire and I swear if I remember correctly, he pulled the rear axle out in the process somehow. On the trail!!! So yea. Even though the parking bumpers at the mall aren't that I high, I am not taking any chances. :D

    Morning Rob!
Nope… maybe this week or when the footwells get here. Should be towards the end of the month. That way, I only have to take that pillar off and disconnect the battery once.
I saw you again this past weened, turning left on conowingo rd from rt 1. I was in line at the DQ…

    Thanks,
I have ramps and tools. I was thinking this could be a one man job with a floor jack balancing the plate. I will probably put it on Friday or Saturday.

Sorry to hear that Brother. I'll sell you mine with everything for 2 mil. We can talk about payments later.

    orrrrrrr

    https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/3558-Mill-Green-Rd-Street-MD-21154/36977899_zpid/

    Check it out.

    https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1512-Poole-Rd-Street-MD-21154/36977711_zpid/

Fawk! I want to sell my place and buy this one! Not sure if this is out of reach but if not, this is a great area and it's borderline just far enough away from the base to be home-sweet-home. Our primary care docs are in abrdeen and it takes me like 20 min to get from Prospect Rd, in 21154 to get to the main area there at Rte 22 and I-95. Another 5 minutes past there an you need your I.D.

This is very close to the base

    https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/703-Beards-Hill-Rd-Aberdeen-MD-21001/36938636_zpid/

    But this get's you going.

There is a parcel with a house up the street from me on Prospect Rd for sale. I think I know which one but it doesn't list for sale on Zillow. It's actually 2 of the same real estate co signs and there is definitely two parcels. This with a fence could be all you are looking for. I will get a number for you.

This is a capture from 2008 on Google Maps Street View

    upload_2022-5-16_10-54-0.jpg

This is very close to the end, at the intersection of Prospect Rd (Rte 646), and Ady Rd (Rte 543)

    upload_2022-5-16_10-56-34.jpg

You can take 543 south to 22 east to aberdeen.

Yes, very close to @crazyfingers Chuck's Brother and Father. I am between Darlington and Whiteford. The Vol FD for both cross over us. So they could potentially both come. Those guy are for real Heros. We're transplants from Highlandtown. Now we have family over in Jarrettsville too.

There are quite a few members in this area of Hazard Cnty. We love it up here but fucked up buying property with a shared driveway. It wasn't so bad at first when it was us and the original, older female owners. I use to remove the snow for all of us. Now were in a bitter dispute/falling out/whatever the fuk you want to call it, and the one, the one that has been here the longest, that use to talk about the other newer ones to me, now rides by without even a return wave. Fuk em' all.

So my advice to anyone potentially buying a home or property, never ever buy into a shared driveway situation without some sort of agreement first.

See and I hear, at a mall kiosk of course, that spelling ability normally indicated the early onslaught of insanity. Don't you agree?
