No I'm not, we are blessed to have a creek on the land a friend of mine let's us hunt. I ask him Saturday if he minds if we go camping there, he said have at it. I'm dragging the camper out of the shed this week and we are going to spend Memorial Day weekend there, with no power or running water except the creek. Told my wife we can come home and shower, it's only 10 minutes away. Gonna take the 4 wheelers too, the kids should have a blast :D

RE: poll, my current truck and jeep are both manual. Out of the dozen or so vehicles I’ve had only 4 have been auto. A Subaru, GMC 1/2 ton, ford probe(high school car) and 05 tundra were the only autos, the tundra was the best one I think.

I've had several manuals through the years, a 1992 Toyota truck, 1984 Toyota truck, 1974 CJ5 Jeep, 1982 Chevrolet 1/2 that was 3 on the tree and a few more I'm probably forgetting.

    Work phone "upgrade" day.

It's cleaner but I wouldn't call it an upgrade.

    20220516_081307.jpg

They're using the network cable that's currently going to my computer for the phone then a cable will go from the phone to the computer. That means that my computer network connection will go from a 1Gb to a 100Meg. One-tenth the speed.

After they're done, a little reworking will be performed to see of the phone still works when it's run through my Gig switch.

More mill carnage. Cracked our main crossbeam on one of our machines. Four metric tons on each saw under there, needless to say I took the tension off real quick. Repairs are on going. 684C12F9-4B25-4E5A-8944-06A969959CA9.jpg

We squeezed 10 pounds of fun in a 4 lb sac yesterday, told the kids we’d go fishing so at 7:15 pm we went. Sadie said maybe if I squeeze you you’ll get a bite. I got skunked. Cole caught 6, wife caught 1 and started taking pics.

The look -- = danger zone, best to keep out of the way for a while and be on good behavior

I think ours will run on either, never tried it on propane though. Probably just take a cooler since we won't be far from the house. I'm gonna see if I can fill the water tank so we can brush our teeth, haven't tried the 12V pump in a few years, it should be good though. Gonna break out the bumper dumper since we don't have anywhere to dump the black tank, or grey tank, whichever one has the brown in it.

Dart, also available in a 4 door. The Plymouth version was the Valiant and had a shorter wheelbase.

Plymouth Duster, also available as a Dart Sport -- not as common.

Was a Duster for certain, kind of remember have that cyclone decal, but been so long...1993 or 94 when it was given to me. I don't even recall who I gave it to, but remember the transmission I got for it the owner I give it to told me it worked for a short time then something happened to it, same as previous transmission.

We got VOIP phones a few years ago, the clarity was so good it was kind of creepy, almost like someone was speaking directly in your ear.

However, cheapness is the mother of malfunction:

Our esteemed leaders went to great lengths to find the cheapest internet service available -- it went down - often, taking out the phones.
The server system was hodge-podged together to save money -- it went down often too, taking out the phones.
During a power failure the server had a UPS system, but the network switches didn't -- taking out the phones.

I'm starting to see a pattern here. ;)
