I'm not sure who's working with us yet. I like him so hopefully!! We are ironing out some things and will hopefully be back in business a few months from now. I just hope no one holds dusty accountable for what he had no control over at EO. We will be revamping the sliders and bumpers as well since they kind of started selling products before he drew them up.

 

Oh Man this suck! This shop is a few towns over from my old stomping grounds. I read the lead time update as of 5.2.2022 WOW just WOW.

This is the way to go for sure. NYS Attorney General really hates when companies don't deliver and will prosecute.

 

Could you shed some light for us what’s going on w them?

 

All I'm going to say is most (if not all) of the fabricators quit. I'm not sure what they are doing to try to fulfill orders or anything. We haven't spoken to them since my husband left 2 weeks ago.

I just feel badly for everyone who got boned. We also got boned but not as bad as you guys.

Funny you mention that, when Derrick called me a couple weeks ago he told me his lead fabricator quit. He didn't mention any of the details, but I assume that's why my Tacoma front bumper(I was templated to get one of the first 2 made), rear single swing out, and sliders weren't on the truck when I picked it up last week. I'll just say this...If the Tacoma design is your husband's, I'll hold out for him to make it and put it on the truck ASAP.

 

So he never actually finished designing a front Tacoma bumper because he didn't want it to be attached to EO (so the front bumper derrick promised you wasn't fully designed yet). He will be making one in the near future and I'll definitely let him know! Actually, he's probably reading this thread lol.

 

I don’t think I’ve ever met Dusty but...just realized Dusty was in the Tacoma install video on YouTube and was really good! He seems to be a good dude

 

I'm married to the guy so I'm a little biased, but I think he's pretty okay lol.

 

New user here, thought I'd post my story. Placed an order with EO for a C4 fab lo pro bumper back in January. EO offered a nice discount so I couldn't refuse. Same story as others. Started looking for updates from EO in April via email and facebook, no response. Spoke on the phone twice and both times they indicated they would get back to me via email - never did. Contacted C4 directly and they indicated no order had been placed with them for the bumper. Today I spoke with the C4 sales manager who indicated they were no longer doing business with EO, having heard from a few people in the same situation. Nice guy, very apologetic. Anyway, I filed a complaint with NYS and contacted my bank to dispute the transaction. We'll see what happens - best of luck to everyone.

So, I see now E.O. has a huge spring camping event planned for later this week! E.O.'s website is still selling festival tickets at $150 each. I wonder if Derrick will be there lol. If so, I guess that might be one way to track him down.

 

Why would you not just buy the bumper directly from C4?

 

The discount EO offered was too good to pass up - should have known better.
