What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I didn’t read every review. But there is no cover plate for the oil change area. To be honest, it’s not a big deal.

I didn’t do anything to the hook because it’s gonna cost me more money for something I already have on my bumper. But it would be interesting to see what others do with it.

Yup, my neighbor has a 2020 pro trim and that’s the skid plate. The only difference I notice is the color and no TRD lettering. Just by looking, the shape look very similar.

 

What took out your grill?

 

Full Trash can

 

Must be breeding season for the north American trash can. Got to watch out, their running across streets early in the morning on garbage day.

None detected. Did all four doors, and behind rear seat.
Also I will say, I did not realize how crappy the factory speakers are.

 

That was easy! I needed that for my locking gas cap that doesn't have that tether built in.

Looks great. I am assuming those are -10? Stock height? Any rub?? I would like those wheels if I could ever find them in stock.

 

Wait I'm supposed to have two skids, was wondering why there was a big open space past the motor skid.

 

Yes it is a two piece design. Pic borrowed from another thread. Where the first one ends, the second on begins. Picture that first semi-circle mating up with the secnd one and creating a full circle. Does yours end with a semi circle?

 

My sr5 didn't have the 2nd skid plate so it threw me off when I was removing the front one to install my trd pro skid

 

Ended up being easy to figure out where to solder into on the board for the opener after I watched this video. There's also this thread that was my original inspiration.

 

Replaced the steelies with dx4 terrain from discount tires

 

Used a piece of 8020 and modified a cheap phone holder. I’ll have to find a better phone holder sometime and also get the 8020 powder coated.
