77 square miles surrounded by reality.
    Vehicle:
    '15 Black DCLB SR5
Tires, Softopper, fully armored, winch, many pinstripes.
That includes everything brought back, not just regolith.

For clarity, regolith isn’t mentioned in the opening to the article:
“Between 1969 and 1972 six Apollo missions brought back 382 kilograms (842 pounds) of lunar rocks, core samples, pebbles, sand and dust from the lunar surface.”

So, are they making moon dirt out of larger rock? Or is there enough regolith to do that already?

    From the Guardian article:
“Scientists planted thale cress seeds in moon dust brought back by three Apollo missions and watched them sprout and grow into fully fledged plants, raising the potential for astronauts to farm off-world crops.”

    Add:
Regolith is a blanket of unconsolidated, loose, heterogeneous superficial deposits covering solid rock. It includes dust, broken rocks, and other related materials and is present on Earth, the Moon, Mars, some asteroids, and other terrestrial planets and moons. Wikipedia

@PzTank any of your Twitter people said anything about a wet dress rehearsal for SLS today?

Our man on the ground told me his company is supporting an operation on SLS today. I assumed it was a WDR.

I have never heard of a WDR happening anywhere other than the pad.

Just finished the review - nothing on SLS but there's an F9 on 39A getting ready for a launch tomorrow a.m. .....

I don't think much at this point. Going forward, I think SpX needs to get Starship operational from Boca Chica and then transition over from F9 to Starship at 39A
