I think they got a little better with the newest generation, it was only the generation of that first one you posted that just felt lower quality all around.

They're based on the same chassis though along with most of the Scions and a few other Toyota's.

The ninth generation of Corolla (called the E130 in North America and sold here from the 2003 to 2008 model years) is not one of my favorite generations because unlike the E100 and E110 (sold in North America from 1993 to 1997 and 1998 to 2002, respectively) it looks rather bloated by comparison; Also, finding a totally stock one in decent condition is nearly impossible these days as the newest 9th Gen Corollas are now almost 15 years old and not very gently used! This example that is saw at Team Toyota yesterday is one of those rare exceptions; It is a 2006 LE that supposedly has just 78K miles and is in pretty damn near flawless condition for its age!

Pictures haven't been posted online yet, but this is the same car; I don't think this car would have gone for much more than six grand less than a year and a half ago!

I went to the Carlisle Import Nationals for the second year in a row, and it did not disappoint! One vehicle I was hoping to get pictures of was a Toyota Century, preferably a 1997-2017 G50 with the 1GZ-FE V12; Thanks to the 25-year loophole, it is now legal to bring 1997 models into the United States! Unfortunately, there was not a G50 Century at the Import Nats; However, it was far from being bad news!

The owner of a 1994 Toyota Sera, which I have also taken pictures of, recently acquired this 1993 Century; I was amazed when I found out that the 1st Generation of the Century had been in production for 30 years (1967-1997)! This is a 1993 model, chassis code GV40; I will post a a picture of a 1967 model that I found online later on; There are some changes, but much like the venerable Volvo 240, this 1993 model does not look all that different from much older examples!

Really? They went through the trouble of importing a century, and this is the first thing they do to it?

Those are factory; Extra mirrors on the front fenders are a thing in Japan for some reason...

Why? Because the PRNDL is on the "wrong" side?

Picture was so small I didn't see it, and you did quote the wing mirrors; Bumper stickers aren't that hard to remove. There was a Saab with a "Fake Taxi" wrap at the same show, and there's a guy in Doylestown with a 1960 Buick Invicta wagon that has a 1960 JFK campaign sticker on it; The bumper sticker in the back window doesn't bother me too much in this case...
