    Milestone reached!

And made good progress on my rear seat delete. Just need to add carpet this week and bolt it all down.

Small box is a charging station for cameras, gopros, drone batteries and what ever else we want to put in there out of the way. Also will make it easier for our small doggo to make it from the back to the front.

Now that sounds like something I’d be interested in. Do you have a link?

I have the URD stage 2 clutch and heavy flywheel so it would be nice if the throwout bearing would do it’s job because everything else is perfect couldn’t ask for better.

Keep your eyes peeled for the core support cracking after this upgrade. There seems to be a correlation between this mod and core support issues.

for example see the pic below on my truck, where a 6 crack already formed. A plate was welded over it and another 6 cracked formed and went around the plate. I have about 6 cracks in the core support these days. Chalk it up to those stiff bushings, a heavier battery, larger tires that had hit the inner fender some before I trimmed and hammered more, and thousands of miles of dirt.

    Just keep your eyes peeled.

CodFather, How frequently do you change your transmission oil? So the capacity of the transmission is 10.6-10.8 quarts, how many quarts were required to refill your transmission to the correct level? I'm guessing less than the 10.6 or 10.8 specs depending on whether you have the towing package. Do you have an AT ?

Another fab heavy weekend for me, worked about 8 more hours on this project and nearly wrapped up the down-pipe. Still need to add O2 bungs, but other than that it’s about finished. Pretty stoked with how it’s turning out though!

Seems that mounting the spare against the cab does not have the same issues. That’s where mine has been for a year or so with lots of off roading.

Yes it is. I was told it needed to be this way to get the alignment in spec. Truck drives great, so i marked it and havent fooled with it since.

I really appreciate that info. It’s funny because I had it come off mounted like that on my last wheeling trip and I since mounted it to the floor in the bed. Good thing that happened now that I’m seeing those pics from that guy. Thanks again for the share.

Since everyone is posting there heavy tow pictures I’ll post mine. 6000 pounds with a taco isn’t very fun.
