Thank you! By far it's proven to be one of the favorites of any bike I've ever owned. Good looks, good performance, low cost of operations, and great owner support from forums.

Heading out your general direction Thursday to an FJR meet in Marietta, OH.

One of the FJR forums did something similar when a well liked member passed from an aneurysm. They had a photo of him with an inflatable sheep from a previous FJR event framed and then that photo was sent with different owners to all of the various tech days, formal FJR meet ups, and informal rambles and all those in attendance at each event signed it. It was later presented to his widow after having traveled to almost every state and a significant amount of Canada. I only had the privilege to meet him once but he was certainly memorable and I felt a loss when I learned of his passing.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is this coming Sunday the 22nd…

If anyone’s looking to ride for a good cause check their website to see if there’s a group event near you. Goal is to raise funds/awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

    https://www.gentlemansride.com/

I’m registered though can’t participate this time around. Got my stickers the other day

Right on. I was gonna post in here as well.

Especially considering this community felt the loss of someone in the not too distant past. Also sponsoring the ride in Indianapolis.

Please consider sponsoring a rider! here's the spiel if your not familiar...

On Sunday the 22nd of May 2022, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.

Agreed it’s an important cause and also a fun day meeting other riders.

I was really looking forward to it…the last two in Philadelphia were solo rides but this year it’s back to being a group event. 119 registered here last I checked. Hope you have a good ride in Indy:cheers:

It's amazing how fast this has grown. My first ride in Indy in 2015 had 15 riders. Last year we had 161 registered and dozens more dressed and rode just for FOMO. This year is coming along well also. That's why we decided to sponsor. Really a pretty impressive fundraiser.

do those lower fork lights help you?

I was just thinking about adding BD S1s to my crash bars. I think Squadron Sports would be too much for a bike haha. But at the same time, is there ever too much? Like that one AT that I posted a while ago, that was trying to cook eggs on his fender..

They mainly help to increase visibility for drivers on the road but do a decent job of illumination. At night I turn on the big lights and it’s awesome.
