What is the version though? Reference step 9 of the TSB to see what I mean because it won't detect anything if it's already up-to-date.
Also, 64GB may be too large as well.

It's way cooler than "waa, my stereo doesn't work with my cell phone"
Mine dropped a call at the 1:30 mark last week. Taking it to the dealership today. Wheeeeeeee......

Good luck. My dealer told me it's $90 to attempt a software upgrade to the system and there is no guarantee that it will work (and he added that includes the update itself, not just if it fixes my problem). I passed and decided to put a new head unit on my to-do list.

Or you could just do the update yourself...

True, but an audio upgrade was going to eventually happen, I think I just wanted an excuse to bump it to the front of the line.

You go back to the very first post in this thread and click the link and download the correct file(s) on a USB and stuff it in the slot and do the update per instructions. It's very easy, I did it correctly the first time I tried.

What am I doing wrong. 21 tacoma DCSB OR. I have a 4GB USB formatted to Fat32. Toyota firmware website said I had an update. And gave me this file...

    19TDT0NA-EA0B_1790.kwi

Thats the only file on the USB stick. When I go into general/ update, it says no update found?

Oh! Thank you sir! What shitty layout they used to show the updates. I only got 3 files this time (I keep clicking, it just went 1, 2, 3 and back to 1). You mentioned 6?
