That requires a business owner/runner to swallow their pride and tell the world they bit off more than they could chew. The alternative of defrauding a bunch of people and declaring bankruptcy seems far more popular.

I would love to run a business like that. It isn't the law that's stopping me.

... It's the fear of floating the paycheck off a dude that's just one bad day away from snapping, and maybe going full curb stomp on the next dumb bastard that crosses him.

I worked in consumer protection for the FTC for 5 years. You can totally defraud the absolute shit out of people and avoid virtually all consequences. At worst they try to claw back some money and prevent you from owning the exact same kind of scam business again but not much else.

other companies will just list an item as sold out when they’re out of materials. What a wild concept

It’s not how most of these function based off seasons 1, 2 and 3 of this series. The pop-ups seem to presale, order materials and keep that cycle running so the next run of product is paid by the last. Rob Peter to pay Paul sort of thing. Probably why all this money from all these holiday sales they had just poofed.

    Seasons
Group buys and free shipping promos. Now I know. A reason why some of these companies have lasted longer. Would of easily paid 1k more for a product I actually got

Andrew has somehow managed to stay under the radar amidst all this while Derrick seems to be taking the heat.

Andrew even removed his position at EO from his personal Facebook page, and the "Meet Our Team" link on the EO website goes nowhere. Looks like they're all feeling the heat. You know what they say about Karma...

Hey just curious.. for the people that did get stuff.. (not trying to be an ass or anything like that)

Do you think its actually the advertised materials? Now I'm worried that it isnt actually DOM or something. Sliders were heavy as fuck though.

    Any way to know?
