That costs money haha. And I'm missing quite a bit of it.

Thank you for sharing! I’m right there with you about wanting to support small business. Derrick seemed so sincere on the phone and made me feel comfortable going out on a limb to support this small business. Such a waste of potential.

Right! And he’s just as much to blame for this too. He was in on it as well. I know some people thought Andy was a good guy but from what I have heard he was just as scammy as Derrick.

Amex was EXTREMELY hopeful for their ability, and if PayPal doesn't Amex will

Small claims court is another option. I would do whatever you can to get your money back. This company is going to be insolvent in pretty short order.

He would have to go to civil court. Small claims only goes to $5,000.

I got a line of BS from Andrew on the phone (amazing I know) about just waiting for the bedliner to dry before shipping my sliders. I’m no materials engineer, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t take 6 weeks bedliner to cure. I can understand crappy processes, materiel shortages, and the difficulty finding skilled labor. What I can’t tolerate is them lying to me so easily. What REALY irks me is how they continuing to run promotions on their website while their business is failing so successfully. Speaks volumes to the the owners business ethics. They are intentionally defrauding customers and IMHO its criminal! If you’re having issues with this company, help the community by leaving reviews, contributing to this tread, and file a complaint with the New York Division of Consumer Protection. We got to help do the right thing because EO has proven they won’t.

This! I was a little worried because my purchase was past the timeframe in the AMEX T&Cs. I explained the situation with them and showed them my documentation. Had the funds back in my account before the end of the day. Easy!

You’d have nothing to worry about. I’ve seen multiple people here in the hole for 10-15k on shady deals like this. One guy said he was upside down over 30k in one of these threads. Can’t recall anyone having more than maybe a mild twitch and perhaps a few “choice” words in their posts to show how upset they were.

I all seriousness it sucks that this happens, and has multiple times. If I ever got taken for that kind of money I would do a bit of snapping. Mainly someone’s neck. Hopefully people start to wake up when it comes to these situations and bullshit companies and people.

Absolutely, this company is on the fast track to insolvency. Reserve your spot towards the front of the line of lien holders to come.

I requested a partial charge back on my $1,043.42 with Capital One today... Sounds like I am going to have to write a bit of a narrative but likely will be able to state my case to get some money back being that I still need to pay someone to buy and install the correct springs in the GX but he did get some stuff done so "partial" I think is fair. I did buy thru PayPal but like John, I'm going to try with my CC first and then go back to PayPal if it doesn't go as planned

I would have 100% said I am low key skeptical if it is DOM .120.... However....

    This seals it.
