:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Made it through a day of just honest Putz yesterday, and a quick errand before I find out what future the Jury Summons holds for me today. Lousy pic, but at least it was just at bedtime for the eclipse, so we got to see it.

    Aaaaannndd my truck died, great.

I just filled up this morning and I was pretty low on gas, like 1/8th of a tank territory (I know, tsk tsk tsk).

It seems like a fuel issue anyway, I can crank it for 7-8 seconds and it’ll start but idles super rough and the dies a few seconds later.
Waiting on a tow home now.

I did get in to vote though, so there’s something good.

Still waiting on the tow truck, this company is slacking to put it nicely.

I try not to get below 1/2, mostly because I'm trying to avoid the cost of a fill! But, you never know what's at the bottom of our old tanks!!

Huzzah & Hurrah! Civic Duty performed. One case dropped, the other settled while we waited.

Think I'll grab a , and head for the pool with the dog until the wife gets back from her turn at an Imaging procedure. No point in working on stuff, the way I see it! :proposetoast:

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Ah, choices from the list again. All of them going to be in the hot, but some, maybe I should wait for some clouds? Hmm.. Might tackle adjusting the springs, and fixing the mount.

That said, @Slimwood Shady ,@07taco, I found some 600 springs-new and cheap. Too light? Hold on for 650? I found more stuff to read, but everything in TW devolves into lift height instead of comfort. Cranking about an inch is free, so I figure I'll try that anyway.

600 is WAY too low. I would encourage you to remove the swaybar, drive it and I bet that fixes the problem. If you think it is all spring, when you jack up the front of the truck, the gap from the fender to the wheel should not change.

OK, considered! Are you saying as I jack the truck, wheel & tire will not "droop" from the fender?

It will not if you are not compressing the springs.

And, bonus points for you. I don't need to remove wheels and tires, and get alignment... I might try this first. I think 650's are probably my correct answer, if I understand correctly that the Kings like to be comfortable at speed, more so than complacent driving like I do.
