I really hate the exclusive colors. Just a lure to get you to buy an overpriced "modded" truck. Now if they threw on Kings and armor with the color that would be worth the extra coin.

 

And people will buy it. If they offered kings and armor, they’d charge $90k+.

 

Well, for me, personally, it depends on the color. I like my truck colors like my bbq sauce. Bold.

 

The only way that I could have afforded the house where I'm at is because it was a foreclosure. It's pretty damn difficult to get a SFH on a single income anymore.

5 years on stock brake components is extremely good. I babied the 'runner when I 1st got it and still managed to destroy a set of rotors and pads within 20K miles. It's been an aggravating battle ever since.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure I could ride them out a little while longer-- what I really need is a brake fluid bleed on all four corners. I really think my brakes would benefit from that greatly. I look forward to trying the Brembo/Hawk setup though, so we'll see what happens.

 

Great Colour - but I wish Toyota would calm the eff down with that big under-bite, ginormous front end. The way the bottom 'chin' sticks out....Just way too much plastic to look tough

I missed out on ANOTHER house today. It's craziness. I keep pushing up my budget-limit to get something that feels commensurate with a middle-aged guy who wants a little room for car parts or wine tastings or drug-fueled orgies and the homes come under contract before my agent can get even basic info.

 

At least this one was the back driver side plug the rest are accessible but damn do I miss the 4cly plugs right on top

 

That's an easy enough job to do, it's worth the effort. Also check that the e-brake cams aren't frozen on the rear backing plates. When those are freed up and the air gap is set correctly on the end of the bolt, the rear brakes work pretty well and the e-brake always stays properly adjusted.

Houses are just being snatched up as a quick investment with the way prices are artificially inflated. When the bubble bursts, I wonder how many will just walk away from the properties like they did last time.
