Except for the last nail I hit was 1/2” below the surface. Brand new chain at that :annoyed:

Listen Chuck. Neither a chainsaw nor a plastic metal detector is the proper tool for hitting nails. I don't care where they are.
    Use a hammer :smack:

Was finally able to pick up a Hercules 1/2" impact wrench, been out of stock since they were released at our 2 local stores.

Compared to my current 6 tons (...the not recalled ones), I'm seeing welded on feet underneath, an additional piece going side to side halfway up the leg, and the addition of a safety pin. Not bad.

I have the post-recall red versions too. Nice to see they made the improvements. Might pick up a second set.

I have had these for a few months.
Extremely heavy duty with tons of metal in them. I'd say a extra 30% than the 6 tons that I already had from HF. I believe my old ones might be under the recall, but I wasn't looking to trade in till they had a replacment.

Are you still liking the creeper? I bought one today. Also bought a Apache case for my Grom.

Well I went ahead and ordered myself a 12000 lb apex winch yesterday, 25% off dropped the price too low to pass, looking forward to when my relentless stingray bumper shows up and I can get it installed.

Couldn’t pull the trigger on a welder yesterday. Just don’t have anytime to get into welding at this point in time.

Factory lift kit. Lomax tri fold Tonneau.
it is one tough creeper, kids played with it on the driveway and holds up to that. The wheels are so good it could almost use brakes for when your under the vehicle while wrenching.

Sorry man. Those 25% off anything coupons are seemingly more rare at HF. Which one are you considering?

MIG 140. Wife and I talked about it because she brought up the 25% coupon, but then we both forgot about it after going to walmart.

I bought the hitch mount motorcycle carrier from HF to carry my scooter when I go on vacation.
    20220601_194316.jpg
Pros- lightweight, pretty solid when loaded(doesn't sway as I'm driving) and not bad to load once I did it a few times.
Cons- incredibly unsafe as it completely blocks my taillights during the day, and you just see a glow at night.
    20220601_224428.jpg
I found some super low profile led lights on Amazon, and wired up a harness and ran the lights almost entirely internally on the carrier.
Now I have much better visibility from the rear. Only issue is with the current led's. The running lights are a bit to bright. The difference between running lights and the brights of brakes or turn signals is not large enough.

It seems like I have been finding myself more and more looking at Northern Tool for stuff over Harbor Freight. Not sure why.
