I completely understand not wanting to sell to a flipper who wants to pay scrap price and turn around and make a killing, I get that.

If a fellow comes along with a respectable offer however...

Everything has a price for me...you may not like the price....but thats a different story.

 

They did come with 240 and 300 six cylinders though probably not in a fire truck application.

 

It for sure was a V8 gas.

 

Sorry to hear. Wouldn't wish that crap on anyone. If you've had family or friends go by that means, it IDK, guess it made me understand better just how damn awful a way to go.

 

not being a die hard Ford guy...I much respected the mid 80's Mustang....if I'm not mistaken they were years ahead of Chevy with roller cams and decent manual gearbox. A former coworker had a 1986 Mustang that was highway pee-troll car. That thing would move out respectably, wind the speedometer right on around.

I often think about how the first half hour before work starts passes with a blink of a eye and then the next 21 half hours seem to be a eternity

 

I forgot how crappy it is!! And turning that thing takes 100 acres!!

New router seems to be doing the trick. I'm gonna have to make a dust proof case for this one if I want more than a year out a router.

 

My wife went back to the hospital yesterday because her weight is way down. 93.5 lbs. She's 5'11", that's wayyyyy too skinny. Doc said they needed to jumpstart her so they admitted her to pump her with fluids, vitamins and protein. Last night she ate a whole plate of pasta! Today she ate a whole taco, but turns out that wasn't on her diet plan. Just hope that doesn't hurt her. But it seems like she's on the right track now. They said they'd release her tomorrow after a check up, then have her come back Friday for some more IV fluids.

I had to borrow my cousin's car once when my car blew a head gasket so I could get to work and school. what he didn't tell me before I arrived was it was a manual. His driveway was uphill backwards and his street was uphill. I learned real quick. Killed it a lot but never ground any gears.

 

Nice! I bought mine from the original owner (my grandfather). It sadly got t-boned by a drunk driver ~5 years ago and ended up as scrap.

 

Hate she had to go back to the hospital, hope she gets on the right track quickly
