I just use whatever is in my grease gun, I think it's synthetic mobil 1. What it may or may not lack in correct lubrication properties it makes up for in frequency because I use it all the time.

    https://www.mobil.com/en/lubricants...r-products/products/mobil-1-synthetic-grease/

This is assuming you're talking about the ball joints on the long travel arms.

Red “n” tacky just like California :crapstorm:

If it’s got a zerk that’s what goes in it. Tractor, implements, trailers, trucks, etc. etc.

It’s insanely nice not having much of anything past the rear wheels. Makes the truck so much more maneuverable. Just back up until it stops naturally haha Need to figure out a different taillight situation though. That’s the second time I’ve ripped it off.

I’ll probably have to cut out some of the cage to fit a bigger spare so I’ll likely rearrange things then.

Mount them more inboard and bend a piece of tube to frame the underside of it.

Curious what the weight difference is stock lower pivots vs JD. I'm sure it's negligible but I'm curious.

Neat, I figured they were heavier, but I guess I never saw a good pic of all the off cuts of the OEM junk.

    Oh you said lower pivots*

I skimmed and saw lower arms. I have no idea but still a decent amount since there’s some round tube thrown in the mix versus just some flimsy tabs.

I would honestly bet it’s in the realm of 5x the weight. Probably more with the skid included. But I would do the pivots 100x over. Probably one of the single best things I’ve done to my truck

    Too many to remember
The shipping weight for the steel skid pivot kit is 80lbs and the aluminum is 65lbs.
