Anyone else tired of hot drinks and insulate their center console cup holders?

I was sound proofing my taco and had a moment of clarity. If I put this siless closed cell foam with adhesive backing on the cup holder, I’ll cold drinks forever (kinda). I was a little worried about fit up, since I was putting foam close to clips. But no issues on reassembly.

Like the idea in general. I just carry a small cooler around with me on day-outings.

Basically did the same thing on my 2nd gen, I covered my cup holders in Dynamat and then wrapped that in reflectix, along with the dynamat and dynapad over the trans tunnel drinks stay nice and frosty for a long time now.

Not a bad idea and it’s crossed my mind more than once in both of my vehicles. I like to put my insulin in the cup holder when driving and I’d like it to stay as cool as possible.

My bad. I don't know why I suggested he put it in the cup holder. That cold beer belongs in your hand.

My daddy when I was 10 years old made me hold his beer while he shifted gears with his left hand because his right hand was swollen from the transmission that fell on it.

Interesting. I hate taking out interior panels though, I always feel like they’re going to break.

You know you can put the 7-11 bag in the center console as a liner on trips, fill it with ice, then your favorite drink (beer) and instant cooler.

GREATEST trick of all. Get a new washer res, pump, and hose. Wrap the res in insulation, route the hose thru the dash instead of to the nozzle. Instant tap! Need a drink while driving, hit the washer. Best with vodka or Jack

These are the ideas Toyota should be listening to for boosting new sales. No one cares about a V8, small diesel or a transmission that works if you can have cold beer and whiskey on tap from the driver's seat.

Drinking and Driving is the stupidest. Texting and driving a close second.
Both should warrant prison terms of 1 year minimum on first offense, 5 years on second offense.

I'd love to ride a motorcycle again but I don't dare.
