    I haven't washed The AmeriTruck in a 2 weeks. It's shameful.

It pains me to say that I no longer have the ability to work on my 99 4Runner. With that being said, I am looking for a reputable engine shop that could do a 5vzfe swap. The engine is stripped to the bell house (have a new engine on a pallet) so, any recommendations? I know of Colvin automotive but, looking for Toyota shop exclusively.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Really want to get back to mall crawling!

Bearden is a Toyota enthusiast. I can do it as well, but looking at October at the earliest.

Colvin are great! They did an engine swap on a previous car which I hydrolocked the engine. They have also installed a lot of performance parts before I learned how.

Cargo Trailers. Is anyone familiar with Stallion? Mfg in McGregor, TX (not too far from Austin).

I looked at a 5' x 10' but only 5' tall interior. I have that funny 8' long bicycle that doesn't fit n my 6' bed, hence thinking of a trailer.
Reason for only 5' tall, less weight behind the Taco, and less likely to be stolen. Sadly cargo trailers get stolen all the time. Someone got the boy scout trailer, which was recovered six months later (cheap latex paint washed off, revealing the boy scout logo when the local LEO stopped it).

I've got some long-distance rides coming up. Ya, I should pedal my ass to Colorado for the bike ride!

Plus, with a 5' tall trailer thinking of putting an RTT on it. Head out to Colorado, have the bikes and gear, and drop the trailer as a base camp. I still want to get some camping and cycling in. Left knee replacement is scheduled for August and November (right). More challenging time walking, but I can still cycle. No more long hikes until next year.

If you're serious about keeping it for a long time, I'd think about a tandem axle trailer. The difference in comfort, safety, and overall ease pulling them down the highway is night and day.

I towed a 6X12 tandem from SF to here and had no issues with the tacoma.
