Thanks. Per Wikipedia, the Baja California plant located in Tijuana, "produces only V6 double cab short bed versions of the Tacoma, the most popular configuration."

I am waiting on a Limited in this configuration. Seems like the Baja California plant is running a few weeks behind schedule.

When you all add your trucks to the app, do you click the Activate button?

You can't activate it unless you're physically there in the vehicle. Just adding the truck should be fine for those notifications.

Thanks, I clicked it once and got all the emails saying the trials started (oops) but it didn't actually let me do anything other than make me change my password for some reason.

    Mine will be from Baja
I understand there are letters representing the statues of the build of a truck, and it can be found on the APP by clicking on the 3 dots on the right if I read that earlier in this post. So on the APP I entered the temporary VIN but I don't see any of those 3 dots, is it because it's a temp VIN?

I think you're referring to v-spec, not the app. Here is the instructions that someone else has posted:

    1. Info by entering your VIN in the following URL: link to v-spec: https://guest.dealer.toyota.com/v-spec/YOURVINHERE/detail.
    2. You can use the developer tools in most browsers to uncover details by clicking the 3 dots on very right hand corner.
    3. click: more tools > developer tools.
4.Refresh the browser by clicking F5 or Control R,
    5. Click on the Fetch/XHR header.
    6. Then click on your VIN and you will find eta, status, dealer status, etc.

I think my truck just got delivered because the vspec is no longer pulling up and it's no longer showing up on my dealer's website. @Rod03 can you please check my VIN one last time? 3TYCZ5AN0NT074490

@Rod03 no need to check, thank you! My dealer just called me and it's there. I'll be picking it up tomorrow and hopefully everything goes well

Thank you so much! Do you think they unloaded this truck from the boat and it went on a train for a little bit? How does that work?

It will depend on who can get me a better rate. Toyota told me they could match or do better than my bank, but we'll see when I actually go in and talk to them. I'm also not sure if Toyota has penalties/doesn't allow for early payment/over paying. If they offer ~2% w/ no over pay penalty, I might go with them.

Early payment without penalties is either a federal law or state law...I live in nj and over many years paid off any loan early without penalties
